Location

This family-friendly beach hotel is located in the residential area of Playa Arrabassada and is about 5 minutes on foot from the sand beach. There is a stop for the public transport as well as countless restaurants to be found in the hotel's vicinity, approximately 100 m away. It is about 35 minutes' walk to an array of bars and nightclubs. The city centre is 1.5 km from the hotel, and it is some 10 km to Reus airport.

Facility

The hotel has 57 double rooms, which are located on 4 storeys and are reachable by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities available at the hotel include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and drinks machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air.     My 1st solo trip and there are only 2 positives about my stay, clean room and incredible shower.The restaurant opens when it feels like it, and the bar food is incredibly minimal, offering only bread options.£17.50 euros for ham and tomato bread. No restaurants are open locally unless you head into the marina or the old town which is absolutely beautiful.I have to say that I did not feel welcomed and for that reason, I would not recommend this hotel for solo travellers.There were only 2 staff members that smiled at me for my 5 days. The young bar girl on Monday and Tuesday and the receptionist on Wednesday evening. The 2 women behind the bar on Wednesday did not smile once and I feel do not shut the hospitality industry.Such a shame for what is a decently decorated hotel.

    Very nice quiet hotel, friendly staff. The room is adequate with a good size bathroom, but could do with a kettle and coffee/tea making facility and a extra bin in the room. Pool area was peaceful with very comfortable beds.Would definitely come back

    We stayed midweek for 4 nights in a city view room. Room was clean and comfortable and we weren’t bothered by any road noise. Air conditioning worked well. Reception were helpful when needed. Breakfast was fine, better than we’ve had in some other city hotels.The pool was lovely and we had it to ourselves most mornings before heading off sightseeing. The caravan cafe didn’t open whilst we were there due to demand.The nearest beach was gorgeous with soft golden sand and the chiringitos opened whilst late at night.The only thing to be aware of is that taxis were expensive, ten euro to do the mile into town. We ended up walking in via the beach in the day and using buses to go out at night, but these stopped running quite early. We taxied back once and walked back after midnight twice, it felt safe. I had seen on here it was a 20 minute walk, that seemed optimistic and was more like 30, at least it was downhill on way back from town which means it’s uphill into town.All in all a good stay if you like walking.

    Very good hotel within walking distance of the beaches and the old town

    We stayed for a few nights at the Nuria. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was positioned at the rear of the hotel so away from the road and had views from the balcony of the pool and the sea beyond. There is a railway line between the hotel and the sea but the noise of passing trains did not disturb us. We chose to use the private parking, otherwise parking is on the road outside. A very comfortable stay.

    Basic hotel next to the beah

    Basic, but ok hotel. Warm and a bit noisy rooms. On the other hand, the balcony is very nice and you can also open the door here. We slept on the side of the road and were not bothered by the traffic. Bathroom was fine, but outdated. The pool was so dirty we didn't use it. There was also an extra fee for making use of beach towels (€20 deposit per towel + extra costs per day, very unfriendly). Fortunately, the beach is a 5-minutes walk. Aldi is located around the corner and within a 30 minutes walk you are at the theater and the ramblas. Free parking and enough parking space (maybe due to COVID?) in the street of the hotel. Dejeme sin embargo recordarle que en Mayo la piscina está cerrada para los clientes pero el agua está limpia ( salvo el polvo que se acumula en su lámina de agua ). Si, es cierto, hay que pagar un depósito de 20€ por toalla pero el dinero se le devuelve integramente al entregar la toalla. En la factura cargamos el lavado y la manipulación de la misma.
