This beach hotel is situated in the centre of Cambrils and only 150 metres away from the sandy beach. Public transport is located just a stone's throw from the hotel. Plenty of shops, countless restaurants, bars, pubs and nightclubs await guests close to the hotel.

Facility

100 double rooms are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities.     Upon arrival it took 2 people to check us in, we were then directed to a back part of the hotel to a lift to enter our floor which felt back ally! To a room which was below 3 stars! Soap for hair and body under the same dispenser, no hair Combe or shower cap, no wrapped hand soap, no tooth brush, no iron literally nothing! Except a wall pumpWith goodness knows what cheap stuff they have in it! IF YOUR ALÉRGIC YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW! , I’ve stayed in 2 star Budget ) that provide much more! Evening staff extremely unhelpful! I came with food and ask for a fork to eat, “ we don’t give this, kitchen is locked” This is 4 star hotel!!! Standard human needs should be met!!! I had to use my fingers to eat Chinese food!!! I think dog shelters have had better customer service!!! Hostels perhaps?!!!? Food was actually quite tasty and the dinner staff were really friendly :) wine was horrific!!! The hotel rooms were really clean!!! TV’s being non smart being a 4 star is a joke!! Remote not working! Didn’t bother complaining as the evening staff seems more interested is day dreaming and being NON CUSTOMER CARE I didn’t want to just waste my money but I didn’t want to waste my time which is more precious! This hotel needs to be a hostal or a bit above!!!!     Room was decent,comfortable bed,good air conditioning. Food in restaurant was not very appealing,coffee from push button machines horrendous. WiFi was atrocious. Due to COVID,we were sent to another hotel for dinner,Ollimar II,food here barely passable also. Reception staff not very courteous,could do with a course in PR. marketing Port Eugeni, Atención al cliente/recepción at Port Eugeni, responded to this review We are sorry that in the face of the Covid pandemic problem there are so many inconveniences for people in general.

    We were under the impression and were sold the idea that this holiday would be very suited for our age range and that the place and the hotel had everything that we needed. Wrong. One of the receptionists was so rude and ignorant, she also didn’t speak a word of English. Throughout our stay, they ignored us and turned their backs if they saw us coming, we didn’t dare to complain about any of the following that I’m about to air to you because of their hostile attitudes. We didn’t get any information about anything throughout our stay, such as meal times, check in/out times, wifi, just basic general information etc. Once we got into our room we were really disappointed at the apparent 4* standard that was portrayed to us. The room was tiny, there wasn’t sufficient lighting, there was no air con - it just wasn’t practical. We were told that there would be a pool bar on the roof top and there was nothing so you had to go all the way down to the shop around the corner for a drink! We couldn’t get any WiFi through our stay. I feel like the pictures on the internet of the hotel do not represent it at all. Although our room was poor, we decided that we wouldn’t be spending much time there anyway and we were wrong again - we were forced into our room a lot to avoid the nasty staff and people. We were awaken from 5:30am onwards every morning by drilling sounds and were kept up late at night because of a park across the road from us, which children were letting off fire crackers all night, every night. We paid for a half board basis and the meals were cold, hard and there wasn’t much options for vegetarians. The atmosphere and the people in the hotel were so mean and rude that we stopped going for our meals because we felt so unwelcome. We started to go out into Cambrils, which we were told had lots of restaurants, bars, etc and would be perfect for us. Wrong. The locals were very unwelcoming and you felt so uncomfortable in that area. We travelled to Salou every day and night to be around people more of our age range and to be in a more relaxed environment that fulfilled the promises that Cambrils had. We were also told that they had courtesy showers and we were told to wash ourselves in the pool shower (which was a metal pipe that hanged near the pool with no privacy). So all in all, our holiday and hotel experience was absolutely awful and no way was that hotel a 4* standard in regards to their facilities and their staff’s attitudes. If it wasn’t for the neighbouring town then we would have flown home the second day. However, I couldn’t fault the hotel on its cleanliness. We didn’t get anything we paid for, such as our meals or an actual welcoming atmosphere and a relaxed holiday. We were falsely advertised the hotel and the surrounding area and would not return here ever again.

    Room very simplePool area really small and deep- not children friendly also separate from the main building making access difficult Breakfast, dinner pretty basic and not a lot of choicesCold boiled eggs, rationised water, milkRotten fruits at breakfast!     Good Facilities & Great Location

    Lovely Hotel, very helpful and friendly staff and a very central location.We requested a room facing the front with balcony. Initially we were offered a room that faced the rear of the Hotel but on request this was changed without fuss to a 5th floor room with a balcony / view facing towards the harbour.Food in the Restaurent is a bit simple but it is plentiful and there is a lot of different offerings. Noise is mentioned in a few reviews... the Hotel is located on a main thoroughfare and inevitably there are deliveries early in the morning... no much the Hotel can do about this - I brought ear plugs and slept well.In short; if you would like a centrally located Hotel with good facilities, great rooftop pool and really lovely / helpful staff.....this is a no brainer.Many thanks to all the team at the Port Eugini....we had a great week.
