  UHC Ventura Park was really good! clean and large apartment for a large family of 7. Was good communication from the company ahead of the booking, key safe was easy to locate and use. Apartments were big, clean and really good. small play park for the kids and decent size pool. Great location between the Theme Park and Shops/Beach/Restaurants.

  Booked online and got unlimited access including food and drink for $126. That was for two adults and three children. Get the R1 bus and it will drop you outside.Kids loved the wave pool and the water slides, dad loved the Go Karts! Highly recommended for a break away from the beach.

  Good location but poorly managed

  *Pros*: location is good. You can walk to the beach in 15 minutes with toddlers on a flat road. Lots of cheap and cheerful places to eat nearby and a supermarket right underneath. Washing machine is convenient for those with kids and the balcony is large enough to hang out on. *Cons*: The apartment is managed very poorly. I wanted to like this place so much but I came away feeling disappointed. I simply would not recommend it. Many things in the apartment were broken and took 1-2 days to be fixed or were not fixed at all. >the stove works but you can not switch on more than one plate on the stove without blowing the fuse in the entire flat. Having the AC on with any other appliance such as the stove or washing machine also blows the fuse.—>the blinds did not work in 2 of the rooms so we had bright lights from the crack of dawn. This woke our small children early and made our stay less relaxing for the first few days—>when we checked in the TV wasn’t’working so we had no tv for the first day.—>it says everywhere there is a children's pool but there isn't one. The kids pool pictured in the background of the balcony is another hotel. The pool is therefore pretty deep and actually quite cold for small kids. --> the fridge was in an extremely terrible state. we and could barely use the freezer because it was completely full of ice and hasn't been thawed in a long time -->we could not use the bath tubs because none of the stoppers provided were the right size for the drain. We requested new stoppers twice but they were never provided—>the beds in this flat are the oldest most uncomfortable creaky beds I have ever used. I literally felt like that's what prison beds must feel like. Furthermore, Each room has two twin beds, no large beds for couples. —>at night there is a hotel across the street with a kids club that is extremely loud - there is a DJ or MC who sings and yells the most annoying songs into a microphone until after midnight. I could not believe none of the other reviewers mentioned it because I literally could not sleep until the kids club was over.—>finally, on one of our very first days my husband was feeding our baby on one of the chairs in the dining room when the legs suddenly broke off and he and the baby fell to the ground. It was really a scary experience for us! Upon inspection we realized that the chair was missing most of the screws underneath. Many of the other chairs in the apartment were similarly broken. We called and asked the them to fix this, but they only replaced the one chair that had collapsed with a plastic garden chair. At the end of our stay we received an email saying we were going to be charged 80 euros for the other broken chairs in the apartment, Despite these being broken when we arrived and our having reported this to management during our stay. My subsequent emails have all been ignored.

  Great apartment close to everything

  We stayed here for a week as with two adults and a teenager, we wanted an apartment that was in easy reach of everything. This was 15 minutes walk to Port Aventura, 10 minutes walk down the beach and with a supermarket 2 minutes walk (out the building, turn left then left again). We got there about midnight and fortunately I had read the booking information (and other reviews) as you have to go to an office to pick up keys which is about 10 minutes walk away. Google map that before you go!Got to the flat and no electricity but with a quick call to the reception they told us where the fuse box was so easily sorted. Flat was clean, spacious, shower room with toilet, bathroom with bath and shower, kitchen (cooker, washing machine, kettle, fridge).Saw the pool in the morning which was great as fairly quiet so could go and relax.As we were on the fourth floor great views over Salou but roadside which meant we had to hear the hotels next door. I am still having dreams of an MC coming on shouting "Hola" to all the children. However, a minor issue really, we went through disco, Saturday Night Fever, flamenco etc during the week.The only issue we had which is why we gave it 4/5 was the electricity. It was fine until we tried to use the cooker. If you tried to have more than one ring on or the oven and one ring the fuses tripped. We did report it.No real issues and thanks to other reviewers we knew we had to go and get the keys elsewhere. Be warned no wifi - if its essential think about somewhere else.

  Comfortable, roomy, clean, quiet complex

  We moved here after transferring from the tenement known as Los Peces. This complex appears to be a mixture of owner occupied and holiday rental apartments. The two bedroom apartment was very clean, well equipped, quiet and spacious. The only facilities are the pool and garden. No reception or safety deposit boxes on site, you have to use the boxes and reception in Los Peces. Had a problem with the electricity but it was sorted very quickly. Well located, less than 10 minutes away from the hustle, bustle and traffic but also only 10 minutes from Port Aventura. This complex is probably a bit on the dull side however if had put up with one night in Los Peces (see my Trip Advisor review) it was like moving from hell to heaven.
