  Location- excellent for theme park. 10-15 min walk to beach and main "strip"Atmosphere - ok. We had an early arrival and couldnt check in until 2pm which was a bit of a faff upacking cases in reception area and getting changed in loos so kids could use pool. Was a long few hours until we could relax.Rooms- basic need updated and parts in disrepair. but overall fine. Balcony area didnt feel overly sturdy. Wasnt comfortable kids being out there. Qe was level 5. Could do with rack for.drying towells and costumes.Value - felt value for money. But had this been booked in summer holidays when considerbaly dearer would have been very disapointed.Cleanliness- cleaners are fab. Fresh towells and beds made daily. Hotel and grounds kept very well.Noise - the hotel accepts huge groups of children/adults so meal times was very very niosy. Felt very out of place and kids felt uneasy.Service- staff at meal times was quick to take plates away but was friendly and clearly have alot to do. Food was always topped up and hot. Getting into dining area ok. but the system is slow. Paper room enevelope seems bizzare. As all party has to be together. My partner was stopped from entering as he was 5 mins behind us. Lady was pretty rude imfact.I had to leave kids at table to show lady the piece of paper. Surely a band for each board basis would be better. Reception staff polite amd helpful.Amenties- small shop 5 mins away to grab basics like water etc. If your looking to eat out its about a 15 min walk. For families - personally i wouldnt return. Kids facilites basic and small. One pool table/airhockey outside. Very small park. Football/basketball area very small. Couldnt comment on animation team as didnt get involved.Pool area isnt the biggest. And would feel very overcrowded in peak season. If your kids want to have some fun in water. This hotel isnt for you. Rings/lilos balls etc. Are only permitted in smaller shallow end. So its chaos and not enough room. No jumping in allowed. No fun at all. The whistle will be blown. Some kids were asked to leave pool area for jumping in. Seemed a bit miserable.Had we known there would be so many large groups of kids and adults on trips at this hotel we defiantly wouldnt have came. Very loud in rooms and We felt like we were in a school canteen amd impsoing on there stay here. Wasnt quite the holiday experience were used to.

  Another great stay. Very please molli who works in restaurant. Is great really nice young lad. Hard worker.. Hope you enjoyed your holiday molli. As you were going day before we left

  Booked a room for 3 adults. On arrival the 3rd bed was a folding camp bed. We paid full price for each adult so I refused to accept this. Receptionist was helpful and gave us another room with 3 proper beds, but could have done without the hassle at 10.30pm after travelling all day. We'd missed evening meal and there was nothing available to eat in the hotel. We were too tired to go out. Some water in the room and the offer of a sandwich would have been nice. Good points - nice clean hotel. Good housekeeping team. Room cleaned every day and towels changed. Pool area spotless, good quiet location. There was a big group of Spanish children staying for a few nights. All very polite & respectful. A credit to their families! Bad points - Food was largely cold & repetitive although Saturday night was good. We constantly had to use the microwave to heat it up. Could do with theme nights to create something a bit different. Entertainment is virtually none existent. Bingo or Movie Quiz each night. We went to other hotels who had acts on. You have to pay to use the sauna and hot tub which I personally think is disgraceful. I've never had to do this before so didn't use them. Pool sunbeds need replacing, old and worn and most don't have a raised back to sit up. I stayed at this hotel 10 years ago and it was much better. I wouldn't return.

  When choosing a hotel if price is important, l look for good hotel chains. I have always found Melia hotels to be a reliable choice. The hotel isn't expensive and fitted the bill for an extra short break. At the beginning of May, the hotel has an indoor pool for a swim. Everything works well throughout the hotel. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned, hot water comes quickly in the shower. The rooms, if a little dated, are comfortable. Like everything here, the restaurant serves good varied food as a buffet. Tables are cleared as you eat and ordered drinks are brought quickly. It is a pleasure to stay here. Thank you.
