Location

This comfortable city hotel is located close to links to the public transport network (100 m) and enjoys a wonderful central position. There are many shopping venues as well as restaurant, bars and nightlife venues in the surrounding area and the historical centre is a few paces away (400 m). There are also many interesting sights to be found in the vicinity and the inviting sand beach and the sea are about 80 km from the hotel and can easily be reached by car.

Facility

76 rooms, including 15 single rooms, are located on 5 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by multilingual staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities.     More like a motel than a four star hotel. Very little service or interaction from staff; rooms were fine but sparse, A/C was on a timer so would shut off in the middle of the night, and given the humidity, shower tiles covered in mold.Wouldn't stay or recommend to others unfortunately.     Good position for Sightseeing & Train

    Great location close to the train station. A bit of a walk to the main centre but pretty streets. Breakfast was great. Choose from all usual buffet items or have fresh omelettes or pancakes cooked. Freshly squeezed orange juice was great. Bedroom compact & bijou but adequate for short trip. No drawers but shelving. Tea & coffee facilities in the room.     An absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff are extremely accommodating & went out of their way to be helpful. The breakfast buffet was amazing with a wide variety of breakfast items on offer. I would highly recommend this hotel. Muchas gracias!!(The only reason to not give 5 stars is that we couldn’t get nearby rooms for the 4 of us(busy time ) plus our premium room had just one small window.)Good location too!     Good location with separate parking, but noisy

    Positives first. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the complimentary glass of cava for signing up to their loyalty programme was a nice touch. We had a rental car for our stay and chose the hotel because of its proximity to a secure, underground car park, with Parking José Laguillo directly opposite. It was easy to get to, without having to navigate any narrow streets in the older bit of the city, and was €53 for just under 72 hours. All accessible by lift/elevator from car to hotel room. The hotel is well located for easy walking into the old city - Setas was around 15 minutes, the Cathedral and Alcazar around 25 minutes and Plaza de Espana around 30 minutes. The safe in the room was big enough for a large laptop.The negatives. Maybe we were just unlucky on room allocation (room 110), but there really didn't seem to be very much internal noise insulation from the room above or the corridor itself. There was regularly the sound of rushing water (presumably a toilet being flushed or a shower being used) and the internal corridor fire doors outside our room didn't manage to hold on the magnets very well and led to people banging them. Even inside our room, the door for the en-suite had a clear half an inch gap all the way around it. We were only there in the mornings and evenings and only for a couple of nights, so didn't flag anything to the reception staff. I noticed that the lifts also appeared to be outside of inspection dates (presumably awaiting inspection).Overall. The room was pretty basic and works fine if you just want a bed for a couple of nights - should add that we didn't use the spa and the rooftop terrace was closed for maintenance so we didn't use that either. Clearly a cheaper alternative to staying nearer the old city and with a great option for easy car parking.
