    Booked 4 twin (to push together) or 2 queen beds to accommodate a 6’6 guest. Was rudely told no - two people two beds (twins). No toiletries, no tissues, no coffee maker, no windows or amenities. Great location though.

    Staff entered our room without our permission. Our room smelled like mold so we left the electrical key powered on to keep the A/C going while we left the room and the staff entered our room and removed the electrical key.

    All around AWFUL experience: ground floor room was like a zoo cage. Claustrophobic, stuffy and noisy. No exterior window. Room “window”has bars and faces an interior elevator lobby that is brightly lit. A sofa sits in the lobby just out side of the room which made us feel like we were in bed with strangers. Double bed is small and very uncomfortable. Door locking system is archaic and a fire hazard. Staff is extremely rude and unaccommodating.

    This hotel is spotless the staff are friendly. The bar next door is 10/10. Location is great within walking distance to everything. I felt very safe at this hotel being a solo trip. Only thing that lets it down is if you’re on the ground floor your window does open up to the lobby however, it doesn’t spoil the trip.

    A wonderfully central , friendly hotel. Clean and simple rooms. The front desk was manned 24/7 as promised with very helpful staff. Perfect location to be able to walk everywhere. Make sure to visit the portugese tart shop right next door A little noisy - take your earplugs.
