  I was here three weeks ago. It was great and I highly recommend this hostel. Staff were all nice. You are added to a list through WhatsApp, and they update you with all the events in Seville, get-togethers, sangria drink nights, and some light dinner availability too, on certain nights.

  One of the staff members obviously didn't know how to behave professionally. Girls were constantly being approached, asked for phone numbers or dates. I was there with two friends who both felt uncomfortable really quickly. I tried to avoid contact with the employee, which wasn't always easy with all the group activities. In response, he told me I was an unfriendly guest and didn't treat him with the necessary respect. I know that the job in the hostel is mostly based on voluntary work, but the staff team must still have a professional relationship with the guests. There is nothing wrong with liking someone and asking for their number, but when employees take advantage of their position and do this regularly, it is unacceptable. Having to hear that you're unfriendly just because you don't fall for the scam unfortunately means that I won't be recommending the hostel to others.

  Leave without clothes

  Me and my daughter were greeted friendly and welcomed, were told about the amenities and possibilities to interact with other guests. The house is beautiful and well located.BUT, the downsides:- noisy restaurant yard right outside- beds snd beddings uncomfortable and somewhat dirty- no towels- water damage in the bathroom ceiling, br needs a complete renovation- the kitchenette not in its best condition - laundry service = we ruin your clothes and don't mind; we followed the instructions given and got back white clothes turned gray, dark colors faded and some lighter ones looking dirty with black attached in them, all clothes shrank and/or broken. At first the reply for a feedback was nonsense and we were blamed for their wrongdoing, but after a while the manager at least tried something. The owner refused to compensate clothes worth of 350 e. Still waiting how this will turn out in the end. Ruined the last day here with no change clothes and no money to buy new ones.Attached few photos the clothes. T-shirt is supposed to be white and s size bigger without stains. The linen pants are supposed to be light beige and a size bigger. The lower shorts are supposed to be the same color as the ones above them and also a size bigger than the above ones. The black shorts color fainted and the shape, well it's interesting now. The last one was a white T-shirt with a perfect shape. Total of 27 clothe ruined.Would never again support any place in Hostel One chain unless they work on this properly.

  Honestly don't get the high rated reviews

  Have stayed for three nights at Hostel One Centro. Perhaps it really depends on what you are looking for, but I do not get where the top reviews come from. Have stayed in dozens of hostels in South East Asia (Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and so on), Ecuador, and Poland so this was not my first time staying in a hostel.On arrival we were greeted by a guy behind the reception who was too stoned to even process a payment. Perhaps this is considered to be high standard in some hostels, but to me this was interesting to say the least.We stayed in a 4 persons dorm on the ground floor. Although the bunk beds were fine and the lockers provided were spacious, the rest was just poor. Bathroom was big - almost as big as the whole room - but very old and dirty. Dirty shower curtain, clear signs of mold. In addition, the room was next to the outside terrace - exactly - the place where the receptionist got stoned. Not only did this cause noise at night, the Amsterdam like smell of weed is terribleWhat was also interesting were the people hanging out in the central hall at 2 at night. They were quiet (that's a plus) but I still wonder what they were doing there. Speaking about the other guests, it all very much felt like hippie travellers (skate boards, dreadlocks, weed, ..). Receptionist would love these types of travellers I suppose...Would consider other hostels if ever returning to Seville again.To finish with some positive items - a plus for single travellers would definitely be that the hostel organizes social activities through a whatsapp group. Great way to meet people. Also, location wise it is great.

  We booked this hostel to stay 2 nights. I got an upper bunk in the female room on the second floor. Pluses:- The location is great- the staff was nice. - The beds are all right (the pillow isn’t tho)- the bathroom is shared, but still quite neat. - free WiFi Why I won’t stay here again:- it’s way too loud. I guess it’s a “party hostel” where everyone just wants to go pub crawling after 11pm. Impossible to sleep (also depends on people ofc)- the second night the room smelled like someone had been smoking cigarettes all day 🤮- the bedside lamp wasn’t working - there are no rules to regulate these loud people :( the room on the first floor is even worse cause my friends who slept there said they could gear everyone come and go during the night and early morning. -no ventilation in the room. Very stuffy- no towels. So bring your own. It’s not really a minus, but it is if you wanna pack light.Bottom line: Not good value for money. You won’t get normal sleep. Not recommended unless you are a pub person
