We highly recommend a stay at Casa del Maestro!

    rating03 Feb 2026

We had a lovely stay for two nights in January, 2026. Lola was a delightful host who communicated with us every step of the way, beginning days before our arrival, in helping us with directions, recommendations, and a personal welcome when we arrived. The room was warm and comfortable and breakfast was well prepared. Another highlight was how charming the house is and all the history that it holds. It was a great location for walking around the city to all the iconic landmarks, with a nice, quiet local neighborhood feel.

    Excellent hotel brilliant staff.

Central location. Hotel impacably clean, small but fantastic. Air-conditioning very good in room and common areas. It has a nice terrace to engoy the evening with a drink. What I liked mainly is the friendly staff that were very helpful and accommodating. They assisted us with all our needs through the stay. We stayed 4 nights. We'll done to ALL the staff. Thanks.

Disappointing bedroom, no window with clear glass.

    rating06 Jun 2025

Disappointing room with no window that you could look out of. I knew there was no lift but would have liked to be warned that it was 59 steps to get to our room number 12. Also, had we been warned the room did not have a normal window I would not have boomed it. And certainly not for £150 a night was very expensive for what we got. Clearly rooms on the lower floors are better. Shame I did not see the other poor reviews of the upper room before I booked. The only way to get natural light into our room was to open the window, but directly opposite was an open window so we did not feel private, and it was also cold to have the window open.I suggest you check which room you are getting unless you don't mind no window and lots of steps. When we left, we carried our luggage downstairs in lots of bags and packed the suitcase on the floor of the lobby!Great location, tasty breakfast, nice bathroom.I would not go there again.

A peculiar hotel in Sevilla, Spain

    rating15 Mar 2025

We stayed in this hotel for one night on our way to a wedding in Jerez. It is in a quiet street, away from heavy traffic. We are not young but were allocated a room on the top floor, up several flights of stone stairs – there is no elevator (lift). After several treks up and down the stairs, we asked for a more easily accessible room and were eventually allocated a room on the ground floor. The staff were very helpful in this matter but they had to argue our case by phone with the manageress. Access to the rooms and the luggage room is by app on your mobile phone. This proved to be a problem as we had to collect a relation from a late flight into Seville Airport and, when we got back to the hotel, the app would not open her room. After a long phone call to the night manager in another hotel, the room door was opened remotely. Breakfast was extra and was served in a room cluttered with artefacts, at a tiny round table whist sitting on wicker armchairs. The furniture was mismatched and the table was too small to accommodate three diners. La Casa del Maestro is part of a chain named pQliar and flaunts its peculiarity. Nothing wrong with this but rooms on the top floor are suitable only for those who like stepping exercises.

Great place to stay in Seville.

    rating02 Oct 2024

We booked for three nights at La Casa del Maestro. Really enjoyed our stay. A special mention to Enriqueta Rosa who gave us such a great welcome when we arrived. The hotel is in a beautiful old house located near to the Metropol Parasol ('the mushrooms'). We had a lovely room with It was spotlessly clean - a very comfortable bed - very quiet (overlooking an internal patio) and air conditioning. Being an old house there is no lift. There was a great breakfast although there were not enough tables for all the guests so sometimes people had to wait for a table to become free. We had a really fab dinner at Braxas - very close to hotel on Calle Almirante Apodaca. Our favourite place that we visited was Palacio de las Duenas (family home of the Duke of Alba) which is close to the hotel. We loved walking around the Parque Maria Louisa.
