This charming hotel is housed in a 14th century fort, which lies at the heart of Carmona and has undergone renovation and modernisation to great effect with elements of the old Arab building being combined with the new construction. Seville, with La Giralda cathedral, Alcazar and golden tower lie some 30 km away.

3 single rooms and 60 double rooms are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby.     Serene snd elegant. We had planned to stay here but noticed that major exterior renovations were underway. We stayed at the Alcázar de la Reina instead, which was well-placed and lovely. However, we dropped in to the Parador for a look and had coffee and cake in the welcoming bar. It is a beautiful hotel and well worth a visit. You can have coffee, drinks, snacks and big tapas in the bar overlooking the plain. Fabulous view. The service was very good. Only one guy on but he was efficient and businesslike.
