This hotel is ideally situated in the centre of the city, opposite Maria Luisa Park as well as the Plaza Espana. The commercial centre with an array of shops, restaurants, lively pubs and nightclubs, as well as links to the public transport network are to be found in the hotel's immediate vicinity.

The hotel has 5 suites, 12 single rooms and 65 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. Guests are warmly welcomed by English- and French-speaking staff at the 24-hour reception desk in the lobby. Check-in/check-out service is available round the clock. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday.     The hotel is in a wonderful location, everything was accessible quickly and easily, we could see the plaza through our hotel window, the room was neat, cozy, great beds, the reception staff were very nice, warmest wishes to them. One morning we chose breakfast, the food was fresh, varied, very tasty, I will definitely return to this hotel, the rest was wonderful.I am very glad that we chose this hotel for our vacation

    Great location, room more than adequate, so I'm generally happy Two points though:1. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Not even a kettle. This is to some extent mitigated by the fact that there's a coffee machine in reception (no tea), and this is allegedly available all the time. The trouble is, it isn't. It’s turned off when breakfast is being served and when the bar is open, and that's quite a lot of the time. The idea is, I suppose, that one is meant to go and buy tea and coffee at the bar. This seems to me to be unreasonable, perhaps even cynical 2. Some of the reception staff could perhaps do with a little training in the art of dealing with the public. Not all, but a few of them were remote and apparently uninterested in the guests. Heads were kept firmly down and eye contact was hard to come by. This doesn't create a welcoming atmosphere at all

    Location close to Plaza Espana worked for me but others may chose to be right in centre of City. Nice hotel with extensive buffet breakfast choices. No early check in offered but luggage stored no problem. Lots of external corridor noise all hours as people came back from Semana Santa. Paid higher than normal room rate due to those celebrations, I guess supply and demand. Inflated price for what is a nice hotel.

    We had a fabulous experience here. We found the staff very friendly and helpful.We got a free upgrade to a junior suite and it was lovely over looking the Plaza Espana.The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful with a good hot shower and white soft fluffy towels. We didn’t have any milk on our tray to have with our tea but maybe the Spanish don’t??The breakfast was fabulous and catered for all requirements. Location was excellent for us.

    I booked this hotel with low expectations, after having read the not very good reviews. However it was the only one I could find at a reasonable price. I was "disappointed" as the hotel was great. My room was not very big but modern (most of the photos in the reviews show some dated rooms) and very functional. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very good, even better than other "starred" hotels. The location is very good. Exactly next to Plaza Espana. If you like walking, the center is 10-15' on foot. It is a great option if you need a very decent stay at a reasonable price.
