    A Mixed Experience with a Positive Resolution

    Our experience began on a disappointing note and first impression, as the hotel had failed to record our Booking.com reservation despite it being made weeks in advance, resulting in a wait of nearly an hour for our room. The initial room provided fell well below acceptable standards, with cleanliness issues in the bathroom (shower cubicle walls, toilet bowl and washroom sink were unclean) and an impractical furniture layout. However, to their credit, the management promptly decided to upgrade us to a suite, which was significantly cleaner, more comfortable and better maintained.Next, the dining experience was average, with menu items appearing repetitive. We also noticed cleanliness concerns at the buffet, including food residue on cutlery despite being the first to arrive at the buffets. After informing, staff addressed the matter immediately. In my view, the property would benefit greatly from stronger management and operational oversight. It would gain a lot more tourists as it has natural views and advantages of its own. Consequently, what stood out most was the willingness of the staff and management to accept feedback constructively and take meaningful steps to rectify the issues raised. While there is room for improvement, their responsiveness and commitment to making things right deserve recognition.

    No good service,No good food , worst hotel I ever stayed.not recommended.Do not got to this place.i regret staying here.No A/C.it is a shame to say it is 5 star.this is verse than a 1 star.we payed for lunch it was the worst lunch I ate better stay at home rather than going here‼️⚠️they are lucky that we can’t put one star

    The location of the hotel is good. That’s the only good thing about this hotelThe rooms are not good. The toilets are badly maintained. The food is HORRIBLE. The refill process was so bad that there is a huge crowd near the buffet area as they all are waiting for the food to be refilled. The quality of the food drops drastically during the refill.The worst ever experience I’ve had in a hotel. The seating arrangements for the buffet is terrible. Never expected such a bad service.

    I had the best experience staying at Club Waskaduwa Beach Hotel. The staff were kind and helpful, the food was exceptional, and the rooms were always clean and tidy.I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back to spend more time here. It truly felt like a home away from home.

    This was one of the worst experiences my family and I have had. The rooms were very old and dusty, and it looked like the bed sheets had not been changed.The food was really disappointing, with very little variety. The front desk staff was not friendly or professional, and they even asked for full payment as soon as we arrived.Overall, the place felt poorly managed. The pool and small buffet were not enough to make up for the bad service, cleanliness, and overall experience. From Colombo, Sri Lanka
