    Before writing this review, I was genuinely surprised to see the hotel rated only 4.1. Based on our experience during two separate stays, the level of professionalism, hospitality, cleanliness, and guest care we received deserves a much higher rating. The team consistently went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.Our second stay at Hyatt Place Gothenburg Central was even better than the first, thanks to an outstanding team that consistently delivers exceptional hospitality.Special thanks to Isra, Bill, Simon, Gustav, and Victoria from Reception for their professionalism, warmth, and genuine willingness to help. Every interaction was seamless, and they made our team feel truly welcomed throughout our stay.A heartfelt thank you to the Breakfast Supervisor who was on duty on the morning of 14 May and her fantastic team. Although I unfortunately forgot her name, she deserves special recognition for her attentiveness, kindness, and excellent leadership. Breakfast was always well-organized, enjoyable, and a wonderful start to our day.We also greatly appreciate the Housekeeping Team. The rooms were consistently spotless, comfortable, and welcoming, while the bathrooms were impeccably clean throughout our stay. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed.Our entire project team agreed that this visit was even more enjoyable than our previous stay. The dedication, care, and support from everyone at the hotel made our trip comfortable, convenient, and truly relaxing.Thank you for making us feel at home in Gothenburg.     Excellent Stay at the Central Station

    The staff were exceptionally welcoming and polite, which made a great first impression. I’d like to give a special mention to the young man (I didn't catch his name, but he had blond hair) who checked me in. After noticing my birthday on my passport, he took the time to wish me a happy birthday. He was incredibly courteous and is a real credit to the company.​The location is unique, being integrated directly into the central station. It’s the perfect place to stay if you want to avoid a long commute for an early morning bus or train. Additionally, the vegan options for breakfast were quite good.

    The public transportation system in Göteborg is excellent. And this hotel is perfectly located to take advantage of the trains, busses, trams, and even the airport shuttle as the hotel is the only hotel that is attached to the terminal building. It’s so easy to deal with the luggage. Even though the hotel is part of the train terminal building, we heard nothing - no sounds or vibrations. The breakfast is very acceptable. The restaurant has a limited selection for dinner. But what they do have is excellent - as is the service. And there are numerous other food choices in the terminal as well as in the regional mall right across the street. The room had two single beds that together are about the size of a US King size, plus a small couch and a desk. It was larger than many other hotel rooms we’ve had in Europe. Housekeeping did a nice job on their daily visits. The room was very neat and clean. The hotel property is a blend of classic, modern and industrial. We really liked it. We were very pleased with our six day stay.
