Location

This charming hotel lies directly on Place Cornavin, opposite Geneva's main train station. An abundance of shops and entertainment venues are located in the immediate vicinity.

Facility

The hotel has 62 rooms, including 15 single rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Further services include a car hire service, room service, an alarm call service and a laundry service. Complimentary newspapers are available. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Guests have a view of the city from the balcony or terrace, which are standard features of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator, a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a stereo system and WiFi are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

    Hotel Suisse Geneva – Unbeatable Location Right by the Station

    I stayed at Hotel Suisse Geneva during my time in Geneva, and the standout feature of this hotel is its location. It is literally right across the road from the main train station, which makes it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by rail, heading to the airport, or planning day trips.Being so close to the station also means excellent public transport connections, but what I found even more useful is that most of Geneva’s main sights are within easy walking distance. You can comfortably reach the lake, the Old Town, shops, and restaurants without needing to rely on transport, which makes exploring the city simple and efficient.The hotel itself is comfortable and practical, with clean rooms and everything you need for a short city stay. It’s not overly luxurious, but it’s well maintained and does the job perfectly if you’re planning to spend most of your time out exploring Geneva.Because of its central location, it’s a great choice for both short stays and stopovers. It also works particularly well if you have an early train or a tight schedule, as you don’t need to factor in extra travel time to get to the station.I would highly recommend Hotel Suisse Geneva for anyone prioritising convenience and location. If you want to be right in the centre of everything with excellent transport links, it’s a very practical and reliable choice.

    Very Pleasant Stay at Hotel Suisse Genevé

    Great stay near the main train station in Genevé. The staff at reception were kind. The room is very clean. I took a day trip to go hiking in the wine county in Lavaux. Very easy. The bed quality would be better at a luxury hotel but it was still really good. Reasonably priced considering how expensive it is in Switzerland.     Fantastic place for an on the go visitor.

    My wife and I stayed here during a four day stay to Geneva. Hotel Suisse is a fantastic place to stay for couples who want to see Lac Leman and all the area has to offer. The Gare de Cornavin train station is literally connected to the hotel allowing us to efficiently travel for trips to Lausanne and Montreux. The restaurant scene within three city blocks is incredible with every option imaginable available. The pedestrian street for Rue de Mont Blanc is just outside the door with some of the finest Swiss chocolatier’s making and selling products within 50 yards of the entrance.     Difficult to write a unique review that does not repeat a lot from other reviews.Pretty much experienced all the good points, no special problems.Surprised how quiet it was even though our room looked over the busy pedestrian zone connecting shops and cafes to the train station.Ate twice only steps from hotel.Reception area a little cramped.
