    a no-go if you fear steep, narrow mountain roads with hair-pin curves.

    I booked, found out about the steep, narrow, mountain road to the hotel, cancelled because I suffer from phobia to such roads, and tried to be refunded on the basis of the lack of warning on the road (this type of anxiety is quite common, so people should be told).I met no sympathy from the hotel, they appear to have a strict policy of no exceptions to a no-refund booking.     Overall, after visiting a few times, I noticed a consistently subdued atmosphere. The staff don’t seem particularly enthusiastic, and there’s a general lack of energy that affects the experience.The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, with a beautiful spa and pool area, which are definite highlights. However, it feels like something is missing, that extra spark that would elevate the stay.Both the service and the food are average. It’s undoubtedly a beautiful hotel, and it may still appeal depending on your preferences.Overage experience personally.     Warm indoor/outdoor swimming pool with endless jets!!

    We have visited the Kurhaus many times. The rooms are all large and very comfortable. The warm swimming pool, especially the outside part of the pool, and all the various strong jets are meltingly relaxing. The breakfast is enormous and delicious. The photographs on the walls from the 20's are entertaining!
