This pleasant hotel lies at the heart of the Murren just a few minutes drive from the Schilthorn and the Piz Gloria.

The hotel was built in 1886. 46 rooms, including suites, 4 single rooms and 40 double rooms, are located on 4 storeys and can be reached by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services such as a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service ensure a comfortable stay. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The food was delicious! We had the sliced veal Zürich-style with rösti; grilled beef entrecôte with au gratin potatoes; apple fritters with walnut ice cream. I also loved the Alpine Glow cocktail.

What a wonderful dinner first night in Murren. Both our dishes were fabulous (prawns and fondue). Staff were pleasant and efficient. We travel a good bit and this location is a definite revisit...

Overpriced breakfast buffet. Food wasn't bad but it was covered in flies. Service wasn't very good. Not sure they like foreigners.
