    Great stay but a couple of things worth being aware of

    Very comfortable stay. Modern, stylish rooms, unfailingly helpful and friendly staff, nice food in the restaurants, great location with lots to do in the area, and loads of fun in the swimming pool. Be aware that the swimming pool complex is open to the public as well as hotel guests and can get quite busy. We found it best swimming at 8am before the crowds arrived. That said, it was never oppressively busy, and it wouldn’t put us off staying again. Some small criticisms. There is practically no shade around the pool. It really needs some parasols and covered areas to provide refuge from the sun on hot summer days. Also it was disappointing that eating and drinking are not allowed in the pool areas. One of life’s greatest pleasures is a margarita by the pool on holiday! Finally it was a shame the lazy river and water slides don’t open until later in the morning, as our kids would have enjoyed a go on them before the pool got busier. These were minor complaints though and we would definitely stay again.     Not recomended at all, do not spend your time and money

    Extremelly unpleasand personal. Kids unfriendly also. Dirty. No possible to rent towell. Buy the cheapest for 18 chf. However there are free towells in spa area but personal told you there is no and you have to buy. Also nobody tell in advance that you have to pay extra from pool zone to sauna. We apologize for any inconvenience you encountered regarding the towels.I would like to clarify some details regarding access to our SPA 5 Mondes. This area does not have free access, but is accessible through a 2-meter high turnstile and an A3-sized sign in three languages, which indicates the additional entry fee. To confirm access (for guests without access to SPA 5 Mondes), the bracelet must be held twice against the reader: once to display the surcharge notice, and a second time to confirm access. This procedure is in place to ensure that guests without access are informed of the additional costs before entering the area.Our system is also set up to allow guests to enter and exit the area within 15 minutes without incurring additional charges, thus providing tolerance for those who choose not to access it.I understand that this additional fee may seem unreasonable for a shorter stay. However, it is important to emphasize that you entered the SPA 5 Mondes, which is separated from the general bathing area, where saunas and steam baths are available free of charge. Access to SPA 5 Mondes is intentionally restricted to offer a more peaceful and exclusive atmosphere for guests seeking relaxation.We thank you for your understanding and hope to welcome you soon at Saillon.Best regards,

    Very good but no air conditioning

    The hotel is pleasant, and the location is absolutely fabulous, with breathtaking scenery. The food was generally very good, and the staff are helpful. The hotel is also very clean and relatively new. However, the stay was marred by the lack of air conditioning throughout the hotel, especially in the bedrooms.     So disappointing!

    The price of the so-called Luxury rooms is way out of price, considering that during a period with hot weather there is no air conditioning! Consequently, we had 2 nights of bad and sweaty but very expensive sleep. Furthermore there is even no body-milk in the bathrooms of this " Spa" hotel.The level of the visitors of the public Spa facilities is not in line with the level of a hotel that pretends to be 4-star. Neither is the view, which includes the ugly Sauna complex, a noisy farm and plastic greenhouses.
