The resort has a lift and features 24 rooms. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and a fan. Guests of the resort receive a welcome gift on arrival. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a tea/coffee station. A telephone, satellite television, a plug adapter and WiFi (no extra charge) ensure optimal comfort. Guests can take advantage of the nightly turndown service. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, a vanity mirror and bathrobes are available for daily use. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The complex has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex provides invigorating refreshment. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. There is a poolside snack bar as well. For guests who wish to keep active, cycling/mountain biking and beach volleyball are available. Guests can take part in a comprehensive water sports programme, which includes kitesurfing and diving, with catamaraning and snorkelling available for a fee. Sport and leisure facilities at the resort include a gym, table tennis and billiards. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a beauty salon. Subject to charge: massage treatments.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a dining room, a café and a bar. Catering options include half board, full board and all-inclusive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Gluten-free meals and vegetarian dishes can be prepared on request. In addition, picnics and snacks are available. The show cooking is a particularly special attraction.

    Wonderful experience though rainy.

    Konokono is one rare gem that you can find in Zanzibar. We stayed for three nights in a family garden villa without any regret. Large rooms provided us with comfort, very good food and excellent service from staff, starting from the general manager to the hotel security. My daughter and my son had a wonderful time running around the expqnsive beach. We went at a time that had not many tourists in Zanzibar. The downside was the rain but this wasn't the problem of the hotel. This our second time but we promise to go back next year. Thank you all for the good service.     A Decent Stay Overshadowed by an Unacceptable Incident

    My stay at Konokono Beach Resort was overall pleasant. The accommodation was okay, and most of the staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit. However, my experience took a very unexpected and uncomfortable turn on the night before my departure.For the first time in all my years of traveling, I was asked by the night staff to open and show the contents of my bags before leaving the hotel. This has never happened to me at any hotel before, and I sincerely hope it never happens again.What could have been a decent stay was overshadowed by this disturbing experience. No guest should ever be treated like that.     This is by far the best hotel I have stayed at and I have been to some amazing hotels. The staff are so kind and helpful. They provided so much care and made me feel like family.The beach was perfect! White sands and blue clear water. If you are looking for a remote and a exclusive paradise this is where you need to be. The room we stayed in was amazing. The hotel is very clean and the food and drinks are immaculate. This is a hotel you need to visit! Once again I love all the staff they are so amazing and I never wanted to leave! 10 stars.     My stay at Konokono Beach Resort and Isaraya Water Villas was absolutely extraordinary — easily one of my top five travel experiences ever.If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing paradise with a white sand private beach and only a small number of tourists, this place is simply perfect. It feels exclusive, serene, and incredibly special. This was actually my third stay, and I can already say with certainty that I will be coming back again next year.From the very beginning, the service was exceptional. The manager Mo truly went above and beyond to make sure every moment of our stay was perfect. His attention to detail and genuine care made us feel incredibly welcome — honestly, we felt like queens. The entire team delivers very high standards of service, always attentive, warm, and smiling.The food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. My personal favourite was the honey chicken wings — unforgettable! Every evening dinner offered something different, with amazing fresh seafood as well as fantastic meat options, all cooked to perfection.The atmosphere of the resort is beyond exceptional. For the first four days we stayed in a beach bungalow with breathtaking views. The room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered plenty of privacy, along with a lovely swimming pool just steps away.On the fifth day we moved to the Water Villas, and honestly… what an experience. If I could give it six stars instead of five, I absolutely would. Waking up surrounded by the ocean, with those incredible views, was simply magical.The beaches are stunning and extremely clean, the rooms are cleaned twice a day, and fresh towels are constantly provided. Everything is maintained to an incredibly high standard.What also made the stay so special was the wonderful evening entertainment. On different nights there were local Maasai dances, live local bands singing, and beautiful dance shows performed by talented local artists, which created such an authentic and vibrant atmosphere.I would also like to give a special thank you to Mohammed, Mary, and the chef, who prepared incredible meals every single day and helped make our stay truly unforgettable.The drinks were fantastic, the service impeccable, and the overall atmosphere felt relaxed, luxurious, and welcoming.Just something worth mentioning — this resort is perfect for people who are looking for peace, quiet, and a beautiful beach without being hustled by crowds. It feels very exclusive and tranquil, yet still perfectly located to enjoy the beauty of Zanzibar.Without a doubt, I highly recommend this resort, and I am already looking forward to returning again next year.
