    Excellent service and good food!Staff were very friendly and helpful! Would recommend this resort to anyone who is planning a visit to Zanzibar. No forgetting the massage. It was one of the best. Will definitely visit again.

    Stayed at this resort for one week.Service was excellent.Rooms and surrounding were very clean. The chef cook up a storm serving mouth watering dishes. Fresh juice every morning. Planning to go back in October 2023.

    terrible place not worth it!!!!! we never got the food we ordered. had to wait up till 3 hours for food. Never had required food that was requested. never enough towels or toilet roll in the room. Wifi was always a problem

    The premises is about 20min away from stone Town depending on traffic . The hotel just reopened post covid so they were trying to reset up. We booked a honeymoon Seaview suite for 1 night room was large and fancy we had some minor pluming problem in the toilet but after talking to manager they sorted us out . The room is blocked by trees so the Seaview is tiny . The beach is a litle distance 45m from the hotel it needs fencing and guards .They have 2 pools all are quite clean and big.The Christmas eve gala was entertaining and food was tasty . However breakfast was simple can be improved with additional variety like cakes and croissants. Otherwise our stay was OK.The lady manager is very friendly and the sales representative Mr Khalid was kind and helpful.     Best places to stay in Zanzibar

    My family and I were in Zanzibar over the December holidays with accommodation booked at ngalawa hotel and resort. I must say the place was breath taking from the entrance. Palm trees all around.It was family friendly which allowed for easy entertainment of kids, with I don't know how many swimming pools( yes they are that many😉😄😄🙄).It is away from the chaos of the city but very close to a lot of activities and tourist sites. There is an in house travel guide who helps with tour booking and yes covid test booking.The staff was amazing always available. Restaurant also on site. I can write a book about this place.
