    Serious Billing ProblemCharged thee times for one BookingWe were charged three times for a single rservation at this hotel. Each time, the amount was only refunded after intervention by our credit crd company.Despite resolving the issue twice, we were charged again for the same booking. This shows a serious lack of professionalism and raises concerns about systematic miscondutct.The situation caused significant stress and health problems. Nobody like to loose amount like CHf 1500.-- cause this hotel does not know how to handle its business.I strongly recommend future guests to carefully monitor their credit card statements when booking here. Based on our bad eperience, we cannot recommend this hotel

We strongly recommend to be very careful while booking this place. By the way the stay there is amazing.

    A gem in Krabi!

    This place is a gem! It is far from 5 star luxury, but has an authentic charm that made this the best hotel we stayed in during our touring of Thai islands. The rooms are individual bungalows with air conditioning. They aren't 5 star, but are a very good 3 star experience - the bed was comfy and the room was cool enough to sleep in. Outside they are lacking privacy (they have two seats and a table outside), but is still ok. Rooms offer complimentary water and coffee (instant).Although no pool, we used the hotel as a base to explore Krabi, so this was not a concern of ours. Direct access to the beach was perfect, and it's position is next door to the Ritz Carlton and only a few hotels down from the Banyan Tree and the Tubhaek Resort - taking a look at these from the beach I was pleased to be staying at Krabi Home Resort!The restaurant is the best place to watch the sunset - it was so quiet and relaxed - tables on the beach with great cocktails, wine (red or white!) and local beer. The food for dinner was extensive and the meals we had were great (green curry etc).Breakfast is good. The egg station delivered quality omelettes etc on par with any 5 star hotel - no complaints here. Choice after this may be limited, but there was still fruits, juices, coffees (iced and hot) and bakery items.We tried the massages - great value for money and an excellent spot just next to the beach! If you are looking for an authentic laid back place as a base for 3-5 nights in Krabi, I think this place is amazing and great value for money.

    We truly enjoyed our stay at this quiet, clean and well maintained hotel on the beach. The staff (especially Sit Ka) were exceptionally helpful, responsive and friendly. The breakfast was tasty and the location on the beach cannot be beat.

    Mama Kitchen & Moon Bar

    We were staying at the Tubkaak Krabi Boutique Hotel but chose to eat at the beachfront Mama Kitchen & Moon Bar every day. As expected given its' location, prices were higher than average Thai beach bars but still significantly cheaper than any of the surrounding hotels. The food was fresh, tasty and nicely presented but the real star was the setting, right on the edge of the beautiful Tubkaak Beach looking out to Hong Island.
