Location

Centrally located on Phuket, this hostel/youth hostel is just a few steps from the beach.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hostel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. A lift and wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (no extra charge). Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service and a coin-operated laundry. Bicycle storage is available to guests. There is a bike hire service as well. The business centre is on hand for guests' business requirements and provides a fax machine.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning. Guests can enjoy the view of the pool from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a CD player, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and include a hairdryer. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms are also available. The hostel has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. Fine weather can be enjoyed on the terrace. There are many ways to relax or stay active at the hostel, including cycling/mountain biking, golf, snorkelling, diving, a gym, table tennis and billiards. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day.

    Had the pleasure of staying at LubD Patong this May and can tell you its one of the best places I have ever stayed. The staff, vibe, food, rooms where just amazing and I cannot recommend it enough. Perfect location for all Liveaboard Diving adventures. I was there solo and its the best place to meet fellow travels or just chill alone. If you find yourself in Patong or at any of the Lub D locations you will not be disappointed. Amazing.     This hotel truly exceeded my expectations. The location is perfect — surrounded by tourist attractions, great restaurants, and convenient spots to explore. Everything feels easily accessible, which made the whole trip so much more enjoyable and relaxing.The hotel itself is fully equipped with all the facilities you could possibly need. Whether you’re traveling with a group of friends or simply looking for a chill and comfortable getaway, this place definitely delivers the perfect balance of fun and relaxation.What impressed me the most was the atmosphere and the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.     Was a great experience from the arrival, arriving early the last at the front desk was helpful with dropping bags, as I had to leave for an activity. Baa, new year - staff was very accommodating and had a pleasant time. Price great Private room overlooking pool area with hammock, brilliant.     The hostel is in a good location, it’s an interesting space with a decent bar inside. The pool area is ok, but nothing special. A decent place to stay.     Great for Making Friends!

    This hostel is at a great location, about a 7 min walk to the main Patong Street. However, it is a bit loud at night, so if you like to stay at a quiet area maybe this one is not for you. Lub D had great rooms, hospitable staff and is good if you are looking to make friends. They have something or the other going on all the time!
