Location

This aparthotel has an ideal location approximately 5 km from Midoun. The Houmt Souk is approximately 20 km from the hotel and the airport is approximately 30 km away.

Facility

25 junior suites, 14 apartments, 10 single rooms and 247 double rooms are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and a 3-storey auxiliary building. At the air-conditioned apartment hotel, guests are welcomed in the lobby with -hour reception desk and a -hour check-in/check-out service. Amenities available at the hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a souvenir shop. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe provides secure storage for guests' personal property. Additional features include a mini fridge and a tea/coffee station. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) ensure optimal comfort. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. Pure relaxation in the hot tub, fun on the waterslide and refreshing drinks at the pool bar – guests will experience just how rich and varied a day in the water can be. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The apartment hotel offers a wide range of outdoor sports, including tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, crazy golf, archery, Nordic walking and horse riding. For a fee, guests can also enjoy cycling/mountain biking. Water sports available at the hotel include windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving. Water skiing and kayaking are organised by third-party operators. The hotel offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts, callisthenics and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. Various wellness options are available at the apartment hotel, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a beauty salon, massage treatments and a solarium. Leisure facilities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco and a dance club.

Meals

The dining area includes a restaurant (with high chairs) and a bar. All-inclusive can be booked. A continental breakfast, lunch and dinner tempt guests with a wide range of dishes. The hotel also offers snacks. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Good hotel, nice beach, poor animations

    The hotel made a good impression on us: - The hotel was very clean, rooms were cleaned daily, towels were changed daily, and there was an oriental scent everywhere. - The facilities were well-maintained, with plenty of sunbeds, a wide beach, and a tractor would pass by in the mornings to clean it. - The beach bar also served lunch. - The food was fresh and tasty, always some fish, chicken, liver, goulash, grilled vegetables, tasty cakes, and a limited selection of fruit (no one went hungry, but the selection wasn't overwhelming and wasn't particularly tasty). No one else had any serious stomach problems, so it was fine. - A la carte restaurant - very tasty dishes. - Limited selection of drinks (no colored drinks - only vodka, gin, whiskey, beer, some Tunisian liqueurs, and paid rum). The bartenders only poured alcohol, and you had to refill your drinks yourself from a dispenser. - There were carafes for drinking water in the rooms (no plastic bottles). There were water dispensers in the corridors every now and then (you had to refill your own bottles). - Paid-for freshly squeezed orange juices in the dining room. - There was a sort of club/disco on the hotel premises - there were dances every day, but it wasn't the season yet, so not many people. - The weakest point of the hotel is definitely the entertainment (there was something for children during the day, but the evening shows were pathetic, even though the hotel has a great, large amphitheater). Apart from one Tunisian-themed show, the rest was prepared by the hotel's entertainment staff, of whom there were quite a few. However, they lack talent :(. There was a sort of cabaret, a music quiz, and dance lessons – all at a very low level. For the older crowd, there was a sort of dance party – in a different room – they played live music on a keyboard right after dinner. Djerba itself didn't impress us – less greenery than the mainland and more trash all around.

    Fantastic Service and a Spotless Stay

    We had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely nice, especially the waiters, who truly stood out and made a big difference to our experience. They were friendly, attentive, and always welcoming.The Christmas and New Year setup was incredible — you could tell a lot of effort went into the decorations and atmosphere, which made the holiday period feel very special. The hotel itself was very clean, and our rooms were cleaned on time every day. The cleaner always added little creative touches, which honestly made us laugh and brightened our day 😂.Reception staff were always willing to help with anything we needed, and the indoor pool was really nice and relaxing. The entertainment was a bit poor, but it wasn’t terrible — just not a highlight of the stay.The only thing that slightly bothered us was that there were a lot of older guests, which at times affected the atmosphere for us personally. Aside from that, we had a great experience and would still recommend the hotel, especially for the service and cleanliness.

    Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!!

    Amazing hotel, very friendly people - especially the waiters, cleaners and chefs. Big shout out to Zidi and Hrabi and the pizza chef for their great hospitality. Very clean and relaxing. You can also swim, play tennis, and go to gym. For those want there is great animation and activities. If you horse ride, I really recommend Sezar Ranch. Thanks to house keeping for the towel creations each day. And also very cute animals near the tennis court there were baby bunny’s and big bunnies, geese and a rooster. Thank you everyone for the amazing holiday!

    Home away from home

    This was our third time at Calimera and it feels like another home. For us, it’s the people who make the place - from the amazing house keeping and their wonderful creations, to the spotless cleaning, the waiters who feel like friends and the wonderful chefs who make the most amazing creations (a special shout out to the pizza chef who was so friendly and welcoming). We stayed for Christmas and new year and the absolutely amazing banquets and hospitality were really out of this world - we feel very lucky to have found this little gem in Djerba and will return again very soon. Here are some photos of our favourite people. If you’re looking to horse ride and are already experienced we highly recommend Nouri at Sezar Ranch who took our daughter riding everyday on the beach and lagoon. Thanks for the wonderful memories!

    Great Hotel , Great Holiday

    The hotel itself is brilliant and located straight on the beach so you can enjoy both the swimming pools and sea which is one of best beaches in Djerba Island.Staff are nice, and they work hard to make guests feel comfortable and enjoy their holiday.Food is good, you will certainly find something you will like although it can be repetitive as in most All Inclusive hotels.Rooms are spacious and clean.
