Location

The hotel is situated in the south-eastern area of the island. The closest town is Midoun, which is 10 km away in the touristic zone called Aghir. The town of Houmt Souk with its souks and traditional artisanal shopping is only 15 minutes from Midoun village. There is a bus stop around 100 m from the hotel and Djerba-Zarzis International Airport is just 45 minutes from the residence (roughly 30 km).

Facility

319 rooms are available to guests in a 2-storey main building and an auxiliary building. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The bungalow complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The complex has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a newspaper stand. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. Cyclists can make use of the bicycle storage area and hire service (for a fee).

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a desk are also available. Additional features include a refrigerator and a mini fridge. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub, as well as a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of activities are available at the complex, for example tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball, crazy golf and archery or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, golf and horse riding. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as windsurfing, canoeing, sailing, water aerobics and aquafit. For a fee, guests can also enjoy motorboat rides, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, badminton, billiards, darts, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and a solarium. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include a kids' club, a kids' disco and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant with air conditioning, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. At breakfast (continental), lunch, and dinner, guests serve themselves at the lavish buffet or order a set menu (for dinner). Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    the hotel is good, excellent, especially the reception guys, and the man who s working there at night.     Absolutely Perfect Stay at Seabel Aladin – Highly Recommended!We just returned from an unforgettable week at Seabel Aladin Hotel in Djerba, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and well taken care of.The staff is genuinely amazing — warm, attentive, and always smiling. Whether it was the reception team, the waiters in the restaurants, or the housekeeping staff, everyone went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Special thanks to the animation team who kept things fun without ever being intrusive.The food was outstanding! Every meal felt like a celebration of fresh Mediterranean and Tunisian flavors. The buffet offered incredible variety with constantly refreshed dishes, perfectly cooked seafood, tender meats, and delicious local specialties. The à la carte restaurants were equally impressive — we especially loved the Italian and Tunisian options.     First and Last Time in Djerba – Mixed FeelingsIt was our first time in Djerba – and definitely the last. Luckily, we only stayed for 5 days, because we wouldn’t have managed a whole week.We absolutely didn’t expect any luxury, but we were hoping for at least some basic standards – and even that was often missing.What disappointed us:The hotel beach was dirty, and the sea was full of seagrass and debris. However, if you walk about 5 minutes to a public beach, you’ll find a much nicer spot – clear water and white/yellow sand. It’s a shame the hotel couldn’t offer something similar.The food was the same every day. Long queues, no clean plates or cutlery. Breakfast was particularly weak – there were several types of cheese, but they were tasteless or unpleasant. Cold cuts and salamis looked like they’d been sitting out for too long.Our first room (a bungalow) was terrible – small, no window, very cramped. We asked to change rooms, and although we eventually got a much nicer room with a beautiful view, the communication with reception was frustrating. Even when we agreed on something, it wasn’t respected until we followed up multiple times. That was exhausting.Now the positives:Housekeeping staff were amazing. The room was always cleaned well, and we often came back to lovely towel decorations on the bed – a small touch, but it made a difference.Drinking water was always available in bottles and regularly restocked – which was a big plus. That’s not something we’ve seen very often, even though we’ve travelled a lot.The shisha bar (for an extra charge) was a nice place to relax in the evening. Great atmosphere and good service – one of the few places where we could really enjoy our time.We didn’t come expecting a 5-star experience, but we did expect at least basic comfort and proper service – which was often lacking. While there were a few nice moments, we definitely won’t be coming back.

    Great Family Getaway with Friendly Vibes

    We had a lovely stay, with highlights including the stunning white sandy beach and turquoise waters, the lively animation team keeping both kids and adults entertained, and the genuinely friendly staff. The setting is charming, with traditional Tunisian-style bungalows nestled among beautifully kept gardens. The food was varied and delicious, with fresh fish available daily and a regular Tunisian buffet. Everything felt clean and well-maintained, and finding a sunbed by the pool or on the beach was never a problem.Our family room was a bit snug for four with teenagers, and some activities seemed a little pricey. Breakfast could offer more fresh fruit, and the hotel’s open smoking policy may bother non-smokers, especially during outdoor dining. Depending on your room location, you might also hear music from the disco at night.Overall, it’s great value for money and a relaxed, family-friendly spot with plenty to do. We’d happily recommend it—and if you’re celebrating a birthday, the staff will make it extra special.

    Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, great animators! Avatar top !! Room C7 smaller but manageable. Too bad the cleaning lady only made the bed and changed the towels. During my 7 days of stay it was not swept/wiped once. Great food, everyone can choose. Sweet spots in the form of dessert were delicious.
