Hotel was modern and clean. Friendly staff and great service. Clean sheets and the beds were made every day. Beds weren’t confie. I got a back ache after 2 nights. Regular breakfast with moderate choices. This hotel is good for short stays!!

    Will not return !!!

    rating08 Jul 2024

For the price, go elsewhere because this hotel charges way too much for what you're going to get. Dirty carpet, in huge need of renovation (the towel rack came off after a few hours, the bath was not at all inviting, the curtains were patched, the thermosthat was coming loose and so on. On arrival, the young man was not the nicest but the rest of the team we met were. Only positive thing, the beds seemed clean even after finding something questionable (dirt? Bug? not sure) and were comfortable. The breakfast was not always at the right temperature. The food that should have been hot was warm at best, there is no elevator and no swimming pool. So for the price they charge do yourself a favour and go elsewhere because this hotel is not worth the expense.

Not A Way To Start a Visit

    rating13 May 2024

My daughter's family booked a room at this Comfort Inn to stay two nights, 14,15 May. They arrived at 1730 hrs, only to find no one at the front desk, A sign at the desk stated "Back in 5 Minutes". They waited approximately 15-20 minutes, observed two other vehicles arrive, and as they had reservations for another venue left the Comfort Inn. Efforts to call the Comfort Inn 450-686-0600 were fruitless. I then contacted Choice Hotels Customer Service, who in turn turned me over to the clerk at the Motel who thru conversation disagreed with the events related to me by my daughter. I then contacted Choice Hotels Customer Service (James) who was terrific. Recorded all the information and assured me that the reservation would be cancelled. Of note I've never visited this Comfort Inn. When travelling we always stay at Comforts Inn who in my opinion have treated us with respect, excellent accommodations and a wholesome breakfast.

    Pleasantly Surprised

    rating20 Sept 2023

I needed a hotel nearish to Terrebonne on short notice that would accommodate me travelling with a dog. The Comfort Inn offered a competitive price and easy access to the highway.I have to admit that I had seen some online reviews that were not positive, so I was expecting a mediocre experience, but I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience. The staff that I encountered were all friendly (to both me and my dog) and helpful, with a particular mention to Sabrina at the front desk. The hotel was clean, as was my room. The internet worked very well.In addition to many guests with dogs (there was a nearby dog show), there was a boys' hockey team staying at the hotel and some kind of other celebration on the Saturday night, but the hotel was quiet. There was breakfast included in my room rate and, while basic, it had eggs (scrambled and hard boiled) and sausages, cereals, a variety of breads and pastries, fruit, yogurt, and cheese. So, it did the job.I have business in this area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here.

Terrible Comfort Inn, but the staff were great

    rating24 Jun 2023

I will start by saying the staff here were very good and were doing the best with what they had to work with. They were all helpful, and nice, but we’re stuck with where they had to work. This inn is downright horrible. I will name the issues. 1) Overall very rundown and in dire need of facelift. 2) The sofa pullouts are brutal. We bought an eggshell mattress cover from Walmart to have some cushion on the mattress to not feel every single spring. 3) Walls are paper thin. You here everything from your neighbors. Everything. 4) They stock one regular coffee in your room. But provide two cups? 5) No daily service which means nothing restocked. 6) Queen bed mattress is hard as a rock7) No gym. Not even a bike or treadmill 8) No common area for families or kids to hangout 9) No pool, but whatever. 10) Less than optimal location 11) Hot breakfast is lacking 12) We had to get our keys redone every single day because they would randomly stop working. Every day. 13) AC unit in wall. Our worked fine but is very noisy and cycles on every 1-2 min if you are trying to maintain 18-19 C temp. It is right next to sofa bed so if you’re a light sleeper, good luck! We lost hot water first morning here but they had it fixed by noon. Coffee machine broke in buffet second day so they did their best with a carafe but it was empty a lot. Hard to keep it full with only one for the staff to fill. Wasn’t fixed by day 5. Maybe if you had to do one night and you are solo, you can manage fine. We were a family of three and did five nights and it was rough. They are building a new Marriott Residence Inn next door. I think that will be a much better option.
