    I had a wonderful stay at Oceana Hotel and spa Yassaminr Hammamet Tunisia . Special thanks to Sameh and Jasser at the reception for their warm welcome and attentive assistance—they truly made me feel at home. I also want to express my appreciation to the restaurant staff, especially Mr. X, who prepared an excellent Ijja. The care and skill in the food and service added so much to my experience. Overall, the hospitality and professionalism of the team made my visit memorable

    I have just returned from an eleven day all inclusive stay at the Oceana which I booked with Tui. I liked the hotel and found all the staff very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately it is in need of refurbishing as it is looking rather faded. The suite that I had was very spacious and bed comfortable. some(most)fittings need to be replaced, towels and bed linen could be renewed and I never really managed to get the air conditioner to work properly but luckily I didn’t need it. Bath and shower floor were very slippery with no hand rails or rubber matting. For some reason I was only given two sachets of coffee per day and there was no milk, powdered or otherwise. Food was good and varied and everywhere seemed to be cleaned well. Did I enjoy my holiday? NO. Unfortunately I wasn’t informed by Tui that the hotel would be preparing for the two and a half day Limoncello music event. The garden area was taken over by various stands. There was three days of noise before event even started,then loud music and flashing lighting over the weekend until the early hours of the morning.A further three days were necessary to dismantle it all.During most of this time the service for hotel guests at the beach or around the pool was very poor as the staff were busy doing other things. These events happen quite frequently apparently and communication between hotel,travel agencies and guests should be very much improved. It could have been the relaxing holiday I was looking for. Such a pity.

    Taste of Tunisia in a glamorous setting

    A wonderful stay at Oceans Hotel & Spa in Hammamet! The staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms were large, comfortable and spotless, and the spa was the perfect place to relax. The location is beautiful, with lovely views and a peaceful atmosphere. We had our first taste of Tunisian food with a tasting menu of wonderful local food - the food was wonderful and the outdoor chill out area beautiful. We met the manager and she was delightful. A great experience overall — I would happily return!

    This place really needs to decide if it's a conference centre or a hotel. We arrived Friday morning to be greeted by a huge medical exhibition set up in the main hotel lobby/reception area. We complained immediately and was offered complementary spa services, which I declined.Please be warned that this event was not a one off! There was another being advertised due to start the day we left for four days and outside they we're busy setting up for a large music festival called Limoncello. I'll let you search it and decide if you'd be happy arriving to your "spa hotel" without any warning that this was happening. Luckily, we were only there for three nights, otherwise we'd have moved hotels.Personally, I blame TUI more than the hotel. How they can be allowed to miss-advertise hotels is quite staggering. If you search the reviews for 'conference', you will discover that similar complaints go back for years, so they clearly don't care.Good/bad bits:- All of the staff are really friendly.- Drinks are generally good but cocktails are weak and only decent coffee can be found in the main lobby bar from 9am.- Food quality is pretty good, though dinning options extremely limited.- Beach bar still closed but the beach area outside the front of the hotel was well kept with very nice sand.- We walked along the beach front to the marina area, OMG what a complete dump. Seriously, I wasn't expecting the opulence of Dubai but this place is so run down.I wouldn't return to this hotel or Tunisia for that matter, it's just not for me. It's a shame really because the hotel and the area has all of the core ingredients to be much better.If you are still tempted to book, I would strongly recommend you check directly with the hotel first to see what other events they are hosting.     This was our first stay at this hotel and our third visit to beautiful Tunisia. It was, as advertised, a very beautiful hotel in the middle of some beautiful and well maintained gardens, and beach front, and a selection of outdoor pools with bar services. We had done our research and were not disappointed during our all inclusive 10 day stay. We arrived as a couple, on an early and uneventful aTui (UK) flight, but we were still able to be checked in and given a room straight away. The reception staff, Cyrine, Madhal and the front office manager Salah were very friendly and helpful right from the start and for the duration of our stay. Cyrine was especially helpful when we needed to arrange a pickup of goods held at customs for our departure. Please be aware that certain gadgets such as drones, meta AI glasses etc are prohibited in Tunisia and subject to confiscation! Fortunately these were returned on our departure home thanks to Cyrine.Our room was large and well appointed with a full bathroom and dressing area with ample draws and wardrobe space and all the facilities as advertised. In place of the usual marble flooring in the rest of the hotel, our bedroom was carpeted which we liked. For the duration of our stay, our house maid, Zohra, was thorough and we were often greeted with a swan towel sculptor and real rose petals on our bed.The dining area was large with wide spacing between the tables and we established our 'usual table' which then was kept in reserve for lunch and dinner to the extent that it was prepared with our usual drinks and bread and cheese selection. This was facilitated by the very friendly maitre d, Nege, and the super efficient waiters especially Bechir, Solem and Mondhon who greeted us at every occasion. The food was consistently amazing with good variety and daily variation of dishes...for meat lovers and vegetarians. The indoor pool and Gym were never busy as we had booked preseason. My wife and I are active gym users and the Gym was adequate for our needs with equipment for cardio and weights and also a large mat-working area. We thought more could be made of the large Gym space perhaps with some overhauling and additions to the existing equipment, but given that we were often the only people in there on most mornings, we can appreciate this may not be a priority.
