Beautiful Views...but hotel needs more TLC

    rating06 May 2018

Despite the hotels faults the amazing view from your balcony somehow makes up for its downfalls.....the views are stunning absolutely ...take some amazing photos of the sunsets from your balcony......You can hear the sea lapping outside your room at night..its so soothing......Thats the best part of this hotel.......The Continental breakfast was served every morning in the lobby as the regular room wasn't opened yet to tourists. The waiter was very polite and friendly. Unfortunately the morale of the rest of the staff was bad. They were always grumbling about something even in front of guests there. One in particular was very unpleasant so much that a German guest had to complain for the rudeness. The beach was also in a very bad way..strewn with plasic bottles glass and rubbish when I arrived. I spent my first morning picking up the rubbish before I could bring myself to sitting down with my book. Apparently it isn't cleaned until May so don't book in April. Eventually it got cleaned. The hotel interior is quite nice. It just wasn't ready and a lot of things that needed fixing. Having said all that the price was excellent and the views were really amazing.

Terrible! Horrifying! Dirty! DO NOT BOOK HERE

    rating27 Jul 2017

We booked two nights in this hotel. We had good reviews from friends and we were very excited to go. The hotel seemed nice, cozy, and perfectly located in the center of the city just on a beautiful beach. But the horror started few minutes after we checked in, where there were no stuff to welcome or take care of you. No clean rooms even after 2 hours of check in. We were asked to go the beach until the rooms are ready. The pool is very dirty and I would say dangerous for people to swim in it. The beach is very nice but very dirty with beach bar leftovers, we hardly found a good place to stay.Rooms are ready but no towels. We only had the towels the second day at night and only when we went and asked for them like 10 times. The food is very standard, no variation and very cheap.Always very few stuff members, so no much help. And the stuff there is not helpful at all and know nothing and some of them are rude as well. The BIG HORROR the next day is no water. So no towels, no water, no AC!!!And the food is even worse and veeeery cheap. We complain and all we get is helpless answers and some rude and loud disputes. Some stuff asked us to leave and go look for better place...Still no apology from anyone, they are acting like they're right. The only good thing, some nice stuff did not agree with the situation, but they had nothing to do, their manager is the worst!!! Do not book here, I definitely do not recommend this hotel.

    great view, great location

this hotel maybe lacking a few things but it's so minor that the overall stay and location as well as view makes it the best hotel in Hammamet.five minute walk on the beach and you are in the center of it all.the view is breathtaking from our room and there is a direct walkway to the beach that takes you also to the center without having to walk on the main roads

    Fair if slightly dated

    rating09 Jul 2015

Stayed a few years ago on holiday and immediately upgraded to a sea view room (but felt that may have put us in the darkest most unappealing room in order for us to request a sea view) never the less was worth every penny.Short walk from the Medina and a market and a selection of shops. Not a great lot to see in the local area and we were unfortunate to have some cloudy days so after spending the days looking around in the evening there was very little else to do. Nice little coffee spot next to the pool and the guy working there was very pleasant.Breakfast selection was very hit and miss and in fact mainly miss. Very limited and very repetitive. But nice to be able to sit by the sea enjoying a coffee.Pool was small but big enough to take a tip and cool off

Don't stay here...if you like to sleep?

    rating08 Apr 2015

When I booked this hotel, based in TA reviews and price, I had low expectations . It must have been a beautiful hotel 20+ years ago.... It is run down by Western standards ......but does still hold onto some if its old stlye...great lobby and entry rooms, even marble staircases...but it needs work pretty well every where. I asked for a se-view, it was to hi-light if the stay, beautiful. This wasn't my disappointment, it's what I had expected. At 10pm a "rave style" party kicked off in the Beach Bar....music so loud I had to move rooms, not that this improved the noise at all. It finally stopped at 5.30am.??...oh my, not a wink of sleep. On talking with another guest in the morning, she had been here a week, and this was the second party of her stay!?
