  Friendly as always but disappointing with the drinks and cleaning

  This was our 6th time in Tunisia and 5th at this Hotel. We first fell in love with this hotel in 2018. Let me start with the positives as this far outweighs the negative.All the staff are fantastic and very friendly. Special mention to Fycial the lifeguard at the pool. So funny and entertaining. All the staff at coco beach who made me a special chicken burger as i don’t eat beef. Thank you as these were the best. The improvements this year to the snack bar were amazing. New entertainment team this year and while they didn’t start off well the improvements as our 2 weeks went on was fantastic. Slim took the feedback on board and made the changes. ‘Don’t mess with the hotel dance’ its one of the reasons people come back. Now for the negatives. For the first year ever i have to say the cleaning was not up to the years before. The pool was not mopped every day and this meant drinks that had been spilled were not cleaned up. They didn’t clean the sun loungers down as they did in previous years. The rooms were not touched apart from to change the towels and the top sheet on the bed. The general dust everywhere was bad. The cleaner we had last year and all the other years left the room spotless and it smelled clean. Its so disappointing when i know this is not the standard of the hotel. Maybe this year’s cleaner has too many rooms to do a day now. This negative was the most disappointing. The drinks of a night at the pool bar were watered down to the point where you could smell the water. Im not a big drinker but still like a small drink on holiday. My husband had a joke with another guest that had asked for a vodka and coke so he got him a glass of vodka and a glass of coke. The vodka tasted like sugar water you could smell it was water and not vodka. The coke zero was just bottles filled up from the coke machine on our second week not fresh bottles. A member of our party went behind the bar to have a picture taken with the staff and noticed that all the vodka bottles that were full had the seal broken. Not new bottles. A number of guests that drank from that bar had bad stomachs. If they are watering them down i hope it’s not with tap water and thats why people had bad stomachs. If this is a decision by management then I’m so disappointed with the hotel. We will be returning next year but if the same as this year then we will look elsewhere.

  Lovely Holiday

  Both my husband and I booked a holiday to Tunisia, because we had never been before and picked the Royal Nozha because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed. We were treated to a welcome drink when checking in and shown up to our room. It was basic but clean, with the most powerful shower and toilet flush, that we had ever seen! There is a lovely pool area with sunbeds, and the beach is just a short stroll away. We noticed that all the staff are extremely hard working, often working long hours, but always happy to make sure you had what ever you needed, especially our restaurant waiter Abdel, who as soon as he saw us would have drinks straight on the table for us. Our housekeeper left little flowers on our bed. Really just nice little touches like that. My husband and I preferred the beach, where Ashref would save our favourite spot and was always ready with a smile or a joke. The only slight negatives were, our room, it over looked the main road and was opposite a restaurant, so it could get a little noisy. The other, you had to ask for a large measure of alcohol, or you couldn't really taste it. None of this affected our stay. There isn't alot to see outside the hotel, but if you prefer a quieter location, like we do, some great atmosphere and value for money then I'd definitely recommend this hotel.   Sad to give a negative

  This was our second stay at the Royal Nozha where we met old friends and made some new ones, the staff were as friendly and welcoming as ever, the food was generally very good with something to suit virtually everyone, it was a whole new entertainment team who became better as the holiday went on and I’m sure they will become firm favourites in a short time, I’m going to give a special mention to Slim on the entertainment team, Faycal the pool lifeguard and Abdul the restaurant head waiter, nothing was too much trouble for these guys and they went out of their way to help anyone with their requests, they are top guys and a great asset for this hotel, it’s now I have to bring up two negatives which are easy fixes, the first is the cleaners, last year our room was spotless, this year unfortunately there were days when it wasn’t touched and when it was cleaned it was a lazy clean at best, very poor, and now we come to the alcoholic drinks at the pool bar , if you ordered a spirit drink such as a vodka and a mixer you were left wondering if there was any alcohol at all in the drink, it was so bad that guests were bringing their own duty free spirits to the bar of an evening , this was certainly not the case last year and if this is a cost saving measure by the management then they need to amend it quickly before they lose loyal customers, we will be returning next year because we love this hotel and it’s staff so I truly hope that these negatives will be addressed as it’s letting down what is usually a great holiday.

  Return visit just as good as the previous stays

  4th Time at this fabulous hotel, returning again in September. All the staff are fantastic, treat you like family. Anything you need they get. The atmosphere, other guests is very friendly. Food is fabulous, rooms are very clean. The best I like is you are allocated a dining table for the duration of you stay. Plenty sunbeds at pool and beach. Beautiful gardens, the gardener does a fantastic job as always. Bar staff remember your drinks and bring to to you regardless. I cannot fault the service throughout and highly recommend this hotel.   What a wonderful hotel, can't wait to return!

  We booked this hotel through TUI last year and waited on anticipation and it did not disappoint. The staff were amazing, the facilities awesome. Pros: Food Breakfast, Lunch, Beach restaurant and the a la carte, the pool snack bar), service, rooms, and beach area. Cons: Dinner in the main restaurant (we felt it was reused from lunch a lot). Drinks, if you like spirits being your own they were very weak, but if you like wine and beer that was nice. Even though we didn't like what was on offer, we found something to eat and the Tunisian dishes they offered everyday were delicious. The beach was simply beautiful and we spent as much time as we could as the pool area could get very windy. The bar and snack area were amazing, fresh pizzas made to order, crepes and ice cream. They also offered burgers. The staff there were great, and I highly recommend the a la carte, the fish and steak were to die for. The pool area was clean and Faycal is fantastic at his job. We loved his greeting every day and his attention to finding everyone a place to sit. The towel hire was easy too 40td for two which is refunded when you require. You get this from reception and hand them in every night or swap for clean ones. We always found a lounger at the pool too. There are shops close by and an ATM. So everything was accessible. Taxis outside but you can use an app for them also. The entertainment was great, the team work so hard. Slim, Alpha and Pika thank you especially for always being so friendly, and Pika is wonderful with the kids. We opted for a garden view room and were above the main entrance, if we opened the door we heard the bowling alley downstairs but it didn't bother us. All in all we had a fantastic time here and have actually rebooked for longer the same time next year! Can't wait to see you all again!
