Location

The hotel combines pure relaxation, a quiet location, an elegant, sophisticated atmosphere and beautiful, well-kept gardens. It is located around 200 m from the long sandy beach. A large golf course is nearby. The hotel is situated in the Kantaoui area, 10 km from Sousse and 30 km from Habib Bourguiba Airport.

Facility

    We stayed for 3 weeks in May this year. 1st time to Tunisa and so happy we found this great hotel. Location, facilities, room, food and entertainment 1st classSpecial shout out o Yassine, Animation team. Spoke to us every day and kept us updated on events. So polite and great sense of humour. Bar staff great, especially Hamdeh-beach bar, Ham&cheese pool bar and Chaffick lobby bar. Restuarant staff also very accomodating. We've booked again for later this year . Highly recomend.     Amazing hotel with excellent service and a great atmosphere . The highlight of my was definitely the animation team . They were professional , entertaining , and always full of energy .From daytime activities to evening shows , they made every moment enjoyable and kept everyone smiling .     I spent a short stay of four nights at Royal Kenz and had a wonderful time. The weather was fantastic and perfect for relaxing at the private beach, which was only a two-minute walk from the security gates at the hotel.The room was modern and kept clean. I had a great view of the colourful trees/plants and pool from the balcony. One thing I will say is that I did notice that the shower had a tendency to build up a fair puddle outside on the bathroom floor, even with the floor towels they provided. I think the shower in my room must have been on a slight downhill angle, causing the water to flow along the bottom of the shower screen and spill out onto the floor. Not a major issue but it did leave the floor mat completely sodden until it was changed daily by the cleaning staff!The food at the buffet restaurant caters to all with clear allergy labelling; as a vegan, I had no issues finding plenty to eat, including local Tunisian (and North African) cuisine. Having said that, if you are plant-based and have a sweet tooth, you may be limited to the (healthier!) fruit, as almost all the desserts were dairy-based.The highlight of my stay was the friendliness of the staff. Everyone was helpful and warm; the welcome staff at the reception; the ladies who cleaned the rooms; the buffet restaurant chefs and waiters; the animation team; and even those on the security gate! English, French, and Arabic are covered well by the staff.As a lover of languages and cultures, I really enjoyed getting to know the hotel staff better by speaking Arabic with them. You get so much more out of exploring the world when you can speak with people in their first/native language. They were more relaxed and open and we built a friendly connection, despite the shortness of my stay.I would like to give a special mention to the following for their service and conversation:- Yassin ياسين (especially as he found my earphones, which I had not even noticed I had dropped, mere moments before I boarded the coach to leave the hotel!)- Jasir جاسر- Shasy/Shahed شهد- Chehin شاهين- Ahmad أحمد- and Makrem (restaurant) مكرمThere are many others whose names I have unfortunately forgotten, but my gratitude goes to them too!
