    A gem in the heart of Tunis

    Stumbled across this hotel when my flight was cancelled and bowled over by my delightful, boutique-hotel-style room. The walls were decorated with artful murals and everything looked brand new though the building is historic. Set right in the heart of Tunis but a peaceful haven. Half the price of the nearby Radisson Blu but twice as nice. A real gem.

    I spent 5 night here last week. I arranged from them to collect me from the airport. I had booked a terrace room which was a really nice spacious room. Breakfast was good each day and all staff that I came into contact with were friendly.There are 2 things to bare in mind with a terrace room - 1 is that the terrace will never get any sun. The other is that you are across an alley way from a "gentlemans club", so literally 10 foot away. The music starts between 10 and 11 and goes on until after 2am. And this was every night I was there. Even with the doors shut you can clearly hear it - including the quite terrible karaoke one night ! I can honestly say this did not bother me, I can sleep through anything but it undoubtably will be an issue for some people.If I come back to Tunis, I would stay here again.     Walkable, well connected, and welcoming staff

    Great stay. The location is excellent, near the Cathedral, Place de Barcelone, and Tunis Marine train station, and it’s also close to the Medina. We could walk most places, and when we needed to go farther it was very easy to take the train and get anywhere. Breakfast was rich, varied, and delicious. The staff were consistently polite, helpful, and welcoming.     Excellent hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Located in the heart of Tunis on a street with various restaurants and terraces. The only downside is that the hotel restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch and there is no bar. So you always have to go out in the evening.
