  **⭐☆☆☆☆ "False Advertising, Hidden Fees & Terrible WiFi – Avoid!"** Garage Thalasso Hotel in Galatea was a **complete disappointment**. Despite paying premium prices for a "luxury thalasso experience," they **charge extra for basic amenities** – including the sauna! The rooms were dated and mediocre, not worth the cost at all. To make matters worse, the **WiFi was practically unusable** – slow, constantly dropping, and impossible to get any work done. Staff seemed indifferent unless they were upselling something. **Misleading marketing** makes this place look like a high-end retreat, but in reality, it's an overpriced budget hotel with **poor service and terrible connectivity**.   WONDERFUL HOTEL,GREAT PRICE!

  This is a beautiful 5 stars hotel!I spent 3 days here with my 9 years old son and we had a wonderful time !My son doesn't stop to say he wants to comeback.The location is great and safe,a few steps away from the beach where there is a private area for the people from the hotel and where a few camels and horses are available to take pictures or for a ride.By taxi you can go everywhere in less than 20 minutes ( Sidi Bousaid,Avenue Bourguiba etc..)The pool is huge and beautiful and the indoor water park is amazing for the kids.The staff is very friendly and professional.The breakfast (6am-10am) is awesome!Our room,the suite 1147 was spacious,very clean and provided everything we needed.The housekeepers do a great job and stay available all day long.All the staff is friendly and offer great services.We are extremely pleased with our stay,we will come back!   This hotel is a bit old-fashioned (it seems it was built in the 90s), but it is clean, tidy, and well-maintained.The personnel were very kind and helpful.We arrived late at night, around 23:30, and everything went smoothly and easily.The parking service staff were also very helpful.There was a good feeling of security.The variety of food for breakfast was great — international, local, and Middle Eastern cuisine. They offered omelets and pancakes made fresh in front of you.The pool contains saltwater, which I really appreciated, and there’s also a bar at the pool.Negatives:– The surroundings (behind the hotel garden walls) were dirty.– The climate control unit wasn’t working, so the air conditioning was running at maximum all the time and couldn’t be adjustedAll in all I would recommend this hotel.   Terrible service and rude owner

  The building itself was beautiful with a Moorish decor that is very appealing. However the service is so awful with waiter shouting and screaming at each other from a far, poor trained waiters and security staff. They were more concerned about a bottle of water going into the hotel (as they have no food or drink policy form outside) rather than all the prostitutes with their Libyan clients being smuggled in an broad daylight facilitated by the staff for few dinars, It makes it really odd when you listen to a security guard night time advising a Libyan client to go into the adjacent club/cabaret and negotiate a price with a girl and bring it back to the hotel!!! this is all happening when the old lady owner who keeps roaming the hotel is being rude to staff and in may occasions wanted customers to be told to leave when they are having their food and drinks just because she decided to close the pool or the bar at 1800! Yes 1800 summer time when the weather is still pleasant everything closes! we were sitting at the bar at the back with family and friends and just being served food and drinks when this lady came and asked the staff to get rid of us!!! the services are disjoined, same hotel but the spa, the bar, the suites on the side, the cabaret are all separate for some reason, By the way the spa is the only bright light in the hotel. Beautiful coast and awesome country but hotels and management like this will destroy the tourism industry in Tunisia. My car got scratched by the cabaret drunk customers due to the ill designed parking made to fit maximum capacity with no thought given to safety or the safeguard of customer properties, The security did not even bother to look at the cameras or endeavour to find the culprit, Never a 5 star hotel in any universe.
