    Worst Hilton Location

    This Hilton is the WORST! They were not adequately prepared for the snow storm that hit the NOVA area, and the parking lot was pitifully plowed. They did clear most of the handicapped spaces, but the Diamond spaces were not adequately plowed, causing members to park farther away. The walk from car to hotel could have been treacherous, having to walk over parking lot areas of ice and snow, and the sidewalks were not completely cleared making travel from car to hotel on the parking lot andnavigating over and around iced areas. Completely unacceptable. To compound things, I ended up having to switch rooms 2 times! The first switch due to a non-working toilet, and the 2nd switch due to a non-working shower. Unbelievable! This hotel is in need of serious updates and improved property maintenance.     Stayed at this hotel for a weekend to visit family and it was very nice! Quiet floor, clean room, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. Mary at the front desk was very kind and helpful when I asked for late check out. Breakfast was tasty!     Decent Location, But Lukewarm Shower

    The location was decent, but the shower water wasn’t hot. Having to take a lukewarm shower made the stay less comfortable than expected.     The hotel was clean, and the staff were nice. The beds are a bit firm, so keep that in mind if firm is tough on your back. The indoor pool is small, but we never saw it crowded. Breakfast was decent, better than average. The gym is small. The hotel does have a work/office area for guests. The lobby is a decent size with chairs and tables available for use. We stayed here while visiting the DC area. The drive into the city was around 50 minutes. The Metro is about 7 minutes from the hotel, and the train into the city is 45-50 minutes. Several grocery stores and restaurants are close to the hotel. George Washington's Mt. Vernon is 10 minutes away.     Basic hotel with convenient locationRoom needs paint and better cleaning The bathroom at first glance seemed clean enough until we opened the shower doors Soap scum and mold and hair which looked like it hadn’t been thoroughly in years!
