    Nice comfortable Adana Hotel with Huge Shopping Mall Across the Street

    Let me start the review saying this is not a five star hotel. It looks modern enough, but a bit little old. Maybe 3 and a half star hotel in US standard. But we enjoyed staying one night in Adana. Will revisit again. A room was comfortable and clean. Only complaint I had for the hotel while we stayed was noise coming from outdoor wedding or engagement receptions or events. The huge Mi Adana AVM shopping mall is just across the street in front of the hotel. We strolled across to the shopping mall in the evening hours.     A disappointing experience all round. No wonder the restaurant was empty.

    On recommendation my husband and I booked a table at the hotel’s restaurant for our wedding anniversary. Despite it looking like a nice restaurant, the food on offer was just the same as that on offer in any ocakbaşı in Adana. The room was disapointingly empty but for us and another couple (and a big black fly that wouldn’t leave our table). A bottle of sweet dessert white wine was produced and shown to my husband (who doesn’t really drink wine) and served served in huge glasses. While we were still obviously eating our mezes, they were cleared away for our main course …mine chicken breast. With the first bite I started to burn up as it was overly spicy. The waiter removed it and a loud argument started in the kitchen with the chef saying that the guest should ask for the meal to not be spicy. After 20 minutes, the replacement chicken came back but unbelievably salty. We paid 735tl and left. PS..We sat by the window to the terrace where, apparently, the staff go to have a cigarette. PPS…this place obviously thinks that the actual room, decor and having a waiter pull out the lady’s chair is all that is required to charge a fortune for the experience. PPPS…during our time there, I used the restroom….it was difficult to find as it was in a dark hallway.     Trash hotel - 5 star rating is a joke!

    Normally Anemon in Turkey is really good…Adana location deserves a hard pass! Room was filthy, a/c not working and we were told all the other residents wanted the heat on (lies!) room smelled of smoke and it was supposed to be non-smoking. Bathroom was nasty and dim lighting, hot water barely worked. There is no carpet in the room and my feet were black on the bottom so the cleanliness level is very bad. Please save your money and pay a little extra for a hotel like Divan or Ibis. This place needs to either get their sh*t together or close down.     Nice clean and spacious stay

    I had a very nice clean room with good view on the fron side of the hotel. Breakfast was too good but they didnt have real cappuccino and I was disappointed that they offered me the machine artificial powder cappuccino when I asked for it. Given the class of this hotel I assumed they would have it, anyways its just my personal observation. The staff was very polite and they spoke tiny bit of English. The staff defintely needs to have more English skills. I tried to complain to reception about loud noises of music coming from room above me all throughout night but it was impossible to explain to them and also after explaining there was no result.If I had a quiet room, everything else was so good including the staff and prices.
