  I have been resting at the Magic Sun Hotel for the third year. I have been to other hotels in Antalya and Kemer. But now I have finally made my choice. Delicious food, daily show program, friendly staff, the Mediterranean Sea and the owner who always monitors the quality of customer service. I am satisfied. I will definitely come again.

  My Honest Review – Magic Sun Hotel (Booked via LoveHolidays)

  The Magic Sun Hotel, advertised as four-star, is at best a tired two-star. Cracked tiles, broken fittings, screw holes in the walls, chipped paint, and bathrooms in desperate need of repair. The cleanliness was poor — dirty cups, glasses, and cutlery were common. Food was repetitive and bland.But what really shocked me was the behaviour of many guests. The dining hall descended into a frenzy every mealtime. Guests (mostly from Baltic countries) piled food mountain-high as though starving, then left heaps untouched. Tables looked like a bombsite afterward — food, fruit, and waste everywhere. Others shamelessly stuffed bags and pockets with fruit, butter, and jam, walking out as if looting were part of the experience.Amidst this chaos, two people stood out like beacons of professionalism: Erol, the Food & Beverage Manager, and Onur, one of his excellent barmen. Erol personally upgraded us to a much better room after we were placed in one without windows and went above and beyond throughout our stay. Onur’s warmth, attentiveness, and genuine kindness brought a rare sense of calm to an otherwise grim experience. Without these two, the stay would have been unbearable.The rest of the staff were friendly and clearly doing their best under strict budget restrictions imposed by ownership. Sadly, the management itself seems to have lost all care for the hotel, which could be lovely if given attention.In short, this was a hugely disappointing experience. Unsafe transfers, chaotic dining scenes, and a neglected hotel overshadowed what should have been a relaxing break. The only redeeming feature: Erol and Onur, who were true professionals and a credit to the hotel.

  Worst experience ever!

  I booked this last minute deal for my Mum and I. I have stayed at a different hotel in Kemer and really enjoyed it so hoped for a similar experience. There were some positives:- our room was kindly upgraded at no cost to us - we were given a late check out at no cost - the restaurant manager was very friendly and kind- the pool is big and clean - the pool bar staff were very friendly - our cleaner was really sweet But unfortunately the cons outweighed the pros. - we were the only Brits at the hotel. Everyone else was Russian and came across quite rude and miserable. We felt very isolated the entire time we were there. No one smiled at us- a part from a couple of bar staff and the restaurant manager, no one spoke English. The lobby bar girl didn’t even know what a beer was and was never there or helpful when we wanted a drink. She didn’t even smile - the food was bland and cold- meal times were chaos. A fight to get anything warm- meals would run out 20 mins into meal times and they would just say ‘finished’ so we were left with the salad - people would start queuing up for food 40 mins before the buffet opened- There is no system, it is agree for all with lots of pushing and shoving. I dreaded meal times - Other guest would take bags and tuperware boxes and fill them up with bread, cakes, fruit etc. it was greedy and excessive and what ever was left over was what we could have- the beach was heaving! People would go really early to reserve a bed and then go back to the hotel for breakfast. Good luck trying to enjoy being packed like a sardine in a tiny stretch of beach I can safely say I will never be returning to magic sun and I would strongly advise anyone looking to book this hotel to avoid. Unless you like rude miserable people and horrible food. Sorry.

  Terrible hotel.

  This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Upon arriving at night, we were told that no rooms were available, and we had to wait – some guests were even sleeping in the lobby.The rooms were dirty, clearly not renovated in years. Towels were not changed even once during the entire week. The elevator was constantly malfunctioning or completely out of order.The food was old, low quality, and there was no variety. Dishes and glasses were dirty. The staff was rude and unhelpful, acting as if guests were a bother.The information on your website is completely misleading. Nothing matches reality. People lose their money and ruin their holidays because of your false advertising.I do not recommend this place to anyone. My rating is zero stars. This hotel should be shut down or at the very least forced to publish honest information about what it actually offers.

  If somebody check this kind of hotel for health and safety, will shutdown next minute, what you see in the picture, is a single room they have it clean, any other rooms is a contamination, the holiday was a INCUBUS. The trolleys they cleared the tables and transport the dishes was misery. Despite this things they still have customers!Thank you!
