  Our first trip to Türkiye

  Our stay at the Akra Sorgun was exceptional from start to finish. This luxury all-inclusive resort offers the perfect combination of relaxation, comfort, and outstanding service.The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush gardens, modern architecture, and direct access to a stunning private beach. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and impeccably clean, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. We had a swim up room and it the made the holiday for us as they are located next to the main pool and you have your own sun loungers to use so can always have somewhere to sit.One of the highlights was the food. The buffet offers an impressive variety of international and Turkish dishes and are better than most à la carte restaurants and other hotels, while the à la carte restaurants here provide excellent dining experiences with high-quality ingredients and attentive service that you don’t get in many places, I would consider the food among the best they have experienced at an all-inclusive resort. The staff deserve special recognition for their friendliness and professionalism. Whether in the restaurants, bars, reception, or entertainment team, they consistently go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome and valued. We want to give high praise to certain people who truly made our stay above and beyond Pinar - lounge bar - we became friends with her over our stay and she befriended our daughter who thought the world of her and we would always go to where she was waitressing to drink, we had a tearful goodbye when it was time to leave.Atilla and Murat - restaurant evenings - both of them would great us and welcome us and want you to sit in their area to look after us, both amazing waiters laughing and joking with us and the kids.Dorgul - restaurant mornings - she was a delight first thing in the morning and was always laughing and joking.The activity’s and kids clubs onsite are as you can imagine is top class too, from dance shows to singers and circus shows, Dan leads the entertainment team and is amazing at getting everyone involved, we loved the jukebox bingo and quiz storm events.The only minor drawback is that, during peak periods, some areas can become busy, and occasional noise may be noticeable. However, this does little to detract from the overall experience. Overall, Akra Sorgun is an outstanding resort that delivers excellent service, superb food, beautiful facilities, and a memorable holiday experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury getaway in Türkiye and would gladly return in the future

  Great hotel in a great place

  First stay at the Sorgun , we’d stayed at another Akra at Fethiye and loved that and hoped for the same here , and we were not disappointed. Arrived at 3am but were taken up to our room which was a good start. Our room was in the mixed area 3rd floor which pleasant enough. All rooms have sea view which was beautiful. We used the adult pool , always found a sun lounger, plenty of towels always available. Service round the pool was good as was the pool bar. No annoying music played and no activity goes on at this pool which is good. Food in the main buffet was fantastic, both quality and choice. We booked dining at all three Al la carte , all were very good especially the seafood restaurant which is by the beach. Two are also snack bars during the day. There’s two coffee shops as well which we really loved. Entertainment was very good , there’s always live music in the lobby bar , acts on in the outdoor theatre plus later in the evening live acts at the clubhouse bar. I must mention all the bar staff in the lobby bar I can’t mention just one as they all were brilliant! . I can’t really say anything negative about this hotel, it was fantastic and we will return. With regards the location , I would say it’s in the best part of Side , there bus stop right outside the hotel , but after four buses went past full ! we gave up and ordered a taxi which only took about ten minutes to get to the Old town. Side itself is quite big with lots of massive hotels , but the old town with the marina is definitely worth a visit , and vast Roman city remains are really impressive , the museum is excellent. We would definitely recommend staying here.   We had the most amazing holiday!

  We had the most amazing holiday at TUI Blue Sensatori Akra Sorgun! The hotel is absolutely beautiful, spotless everywhere, and always smells so lovely and fresh. The rooms are so spacious, clean, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Every single member of staff goes above and beyond to make your holiday special – they work so hard and never stop. The cocktail and drink selection on the all inclusive was amazing, and the food was probably the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive hotel with so many different options every night. The location is perfect too, with Side Old Town only an 11-minute drive away, making it easy to explore and enjoy the local area. We couldn’t fault a thing and genuinely had the best time. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect holiday!   Have just returned from a 12 day visit.Very nice hotel, generally speaking.Had a penthouse suite which was lovely, super balcony and whirlpool.Food, cut above the usual buffet standard, liked the à la carte service after buffet hours.High standards of cleanliness throughout hotel.Management obviously demand high standard of service from their employees, and it shows.We stayed in the adult only section which worked well during the day, but at night children are allowed into the main lounge, só we were occasionally disturbed by rowdy, inappropriate behaviour. Staff who excelled;Habbibe , our maid, was excellent in her attention to detail.Gabriel, brilliant pool side service.Engin, pool side bar tender, again, excellent.Harun, Safran, manager, thank you for 3 super meals. Ibrahim, excellent cabana service, we really enjoyed this day, thank you.Muslum,very prompt and attentive service from him in the Piano Lounge.Bianca, the Tui rep who could not do enough for us. All in all, a pleasant and relaxing holiday.   Fantastic stay at an outstanding hotelThis was our second visit to this amazing hotel. Our first stay was around seven years ago as a family holiday in the family area, and this time we had the pleasure of staying in the adults-only section in a swim-up room.I genuinely cannot fault anything. The staff, food, and facilities are all outstanding. The hotel is immaculately clean, and nothing is ever too much trouble.The level of service is consistently high, every member of staff is friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile.The quality of both food and drinks is excellent. We dined in two of the à la carte restaurants, the Italian and the Turkish, both of which were fantastic, with attentive service throughout. The main buffet also offers a wide variety of choices. We especially appreciated the flexibility of being able to enjoy à la carte-style dining during lunch, within the buffet area, and even late at night. After arriving tired and hungry, it was a real pleasure to be offered such a selection of freshly prepared, delicious food.We also booked a cabana for the day, which was a wonderful experience. Erin, our host, was excellent and made everything completely effortless with exceptional service.We arranged private transfers to and from the hotel, which I would highly recommend for convenience and ease.There is honestly not a single negative I can mention about this hotel. We will most definitely return.
