Location

The hotel enjoys a superb location in a small tourist area known as Göynük overlooking the Mediterranean with a mountainous backdrop behind it. Local amenities are within 850 m and the larger resort of Kemer is just 8 km away and has a variety of shops, bars, nightclubs and restaurants. There are links to the public transport network in front of the hotel. Area attractions include the ancient cities of Phaselis and Olympos. Antalya Airport is about 45 km away.

Facility

The resort was modernised in 2024. Wireless internet access (no extra charge) allows guests to surf the internet and catch up on email. There are a number of shops as well. Children can enjoy the playground. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service, 24-hour room service (for a fee), an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a page service and a hotel doctor. A business centre with projector and a flip chart and pens is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most units include a balcony with sea views, where guests can relax and linger a while. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. A safe and a minibar are also available. Equipped with satellite television and WiFi (no extra charge), the rooms provide many ways for guests to stay connected and entertained. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower. The complex has non-smoking rooms.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. A waterslide and a refreshing drink at the poolside snack bar offer the perfect way to unwind. Sun loungers and parasols are also available to guests. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis, beach volleyball and archery are available. Water sports offered include aquafit, and diving is available for a fee. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards, darts, yoga, callisthenics and aerobics. There is a wellness area with a sauna, a hammam and a spa and, for an additional fee, a spa, a beauty salon and massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, a kids' disco and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café, a bar and a lobby bar. Guests can enjoy dining in the cosy atmosphere of the 5 restaurants (a buffet and à la carte available). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. For breakfast (late riser), lunch, and dinner, guests serve themselves at the buffet or choose their favourite dishes from the à la carte options (for dinner). The menu also offers diet meals, children's meals and halal food. The resort also offers snacks. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    Flawless Service, Amazing Food and an Unforgettable Family Holiday!Our family vacation at Amara Comfort Resort was truly beyond our expectations. From the very first moment we arrived at the hotel, we were impressed by the warm welcome, friendliness, and professional service. I would especially like to thank Mr. Özgür for his exceptional hospitality. He took care of us throughout our stay, helped us with everything we needed, and made us feel genuinely special. Staff members like him truly reflect the quality of a hotel.The overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm, relaxing, and perfect for families. Our children had an amazing time, and we were able to enjoy a peaceful and comfortable holiday. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The housekeeping team worked very carefully and consistently every day. All common areas, pools, beach, and restaurants were always spotless and well-maintained.The food and beverage quality was outstanding. The variety and taste of the open buffet exceeded our expectations. Especially the dishes served at Amara Main Restaurant were excellent both in presentation and flavor. During the day, we really enjoyed the food at Turquoise Snack Restaurant. Bella Gusto Italian Restaurant offered a wonderful atmosphere and delicious meals, while the seafood at Filika Seafood Restaurant was absolutely fantastic. A’la Turca Turkish Cuisine served traditional Turkish dishes beautifully. For dessert lovers, the Patisserie section felt like heaven. The coffees, desserts, and daily treats were all delicious. Also, having Bistro24 available 24 hours a day was a huge convenience.The bar service was also excellent and very fast. The staff at Champagne Lobby Bar and Turquoise Pool Bar were especially attentive and friendly. The service quality was truly high-level. The drinks were premium quality and beautifully presented. We received excellent service throughout the day without any issues.The evening entertainment, live music, pool activities, and animation team made our holiday even more enjoyable. This hotel offers both relaxation and fun at the same time. I would definitely recommend it to families with children, couples, and anyone looking for quality service.In short, we left Amara Comfort Resort extremely satisfied.     I was extremely satisfied with my stay at Amara Comfort. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was very pleasant and well maintained. The staff was truly attentive and friendly; especially the front desk team, who were very helpful and made us feel welcome from the first moment. Cleanliness was excellent, both in the rooms and common areas. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and perfect for relaxing. The warm and sincere attitude of the staff really made the hotel feel welcoming. We had a calm, enjoyable, and relaxing holiday. I will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.     Nice hotel, but service ruined the stay

    The hotel itself is nice and comfortable, but the service was completely unacceptable. The rooms we were promised were not available, and after a four-hour wait, two families were given just one family room to share. The minibar was not refilled for three days, despite daily reminders. On the fourth day, a bag of shampoos was angrily thrown into the room instead of properly restocking the minibar.Room service was also disappointing – no real cleaning was done, only the beds were made. On the second-to-last day, some of our personal belongings went missing from the room. We immediately informed reception, but no one addressed the issue.At the same time, drinks were out of stock at the lobby bar, and we were simply told to go to the beach bar. Reception staff were rude and dishonest, offering no real help.The only positive aspect was the animators – very friendly and accommodating. We had many young people who wanted pool games, and these were organized for them.Overall, an extremely disappointing service experience – a shame, because the hotel itself deserves much better staff. In addition, written confirmation was received from our guests stating that the room changes were made upon their own request. No form of pressure or insistence was applied during this process.Regarding the cleaning service, our records indicate that only one cleaning request was received from your room during your stay, which was immediately handled by our housekeeping team. Apart from this, no complaints regarding cleanliness were reported.As for the minibar service, additional refills were made especially for rooms accommodating larger families. There is no record in Guest Relations regarding lost items from your room.Once again, we are sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced and truly appreciate your feedback.     Unfortunately, our problems started upon arrival. We requested rooms next to each other (having previously informed the hotel of our room preference by email) and as they were being cleaned at the time, we were asked to wait. After several requests, the receptionist offered us a room change (we do not want this, as the hotel claims). We visited the room we were offered and unfortunately one of the rooms did not meet our expectations. In addition, there were misunderstandings regarding the room registration systems, which caused many problems during the week. After long discussions, a room change was promised on October 11th, which finally happened, but we still spent those four days in a place that was not suitable for us, where several rooms had been used.The cleaning of the rooms left something to be desired - for example, we later found a child's straws under the bed, and the general cleanliness was not up to expectations. The provision of hygiene products was uneven across the rooms: some rooms lacked necessary products from the first day, including shower gels and shampoos in the suite. After repeated requests, a bag full of necessary items was finally brought only on the last evening.The minibar was also unevenly filled: some rooms had soft drinks and water, but no beer, while others had beer every day. There were different opinions at the reception about the availability of beer and the surcharge (one employee said that beer in the minibar is not included in the concept, another employee said that it is for an additional fee). However, there was no price list in the room and they refused to show us the price list.In addition, the bar was constantly running out of drinks. The bartenders seemed tired and unmotivated. There was confusion about the drink selection and the nature of the hotel package. When contacting the reception, they initially said it was an ALL package, but later they said it was an UAL package. It seemed that the employees themselves did not know exactly what concept they were operating and working on.The lunch selection by the pool could have a larger selection, then you wouldn't have to queue at the restaurant every day (often long queues during lunch and dinner and sometimes we ran out of grilled meat and fish).As a young woman, I also don't recommend visiting the hammam in the hotel spa, or if you do, be sure to ask a female employee to take care of you. We were promised female masseuses, but there were still middle-aged men who behaved unprofessionally with the young girls, fondling and groping them. The massage was more like a gentle caress. Causing discomfort, disgust and great shock.On a positive note, I would highlight the animation team, who were very friendly, fun, talked to us every day and even organized pool games for us.The hotel itself is located in a beautiful green area, the hotel area was clean and tidy. The pool water was clean and it was cleaned often. But unfortunately it was cold, so we went swimming in the sea a lot. The evening shows were ok. In our SPA, reservations are arranged based on the availability of female therapists; if unavailable, a male therapist may provide the service only with the guest’s consent. We would like to emphasize that we have never received any similar complaint in the past. The situation you described would represent a very serious allegation — if such an incident had occurred, it would have required official involvement from the local authorities (Gendarmerie) during your stay. No such report was made to us at that time.Once again, we are sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced and truly appreciate your feedback.
