  Dark alley with Graffiti during the entrance way and bare minimum staff support during the evening

  We arrived late at night, only to find that the entrance is located down a dark alley. While the apartment building is conveniently close to the old town, it was not the welcoming start we hoped for.On our first day, we discovered that although the stove looked functional, it wasn't working. We were three guests but were only provided with two sets of towels. When I requested a third, the male manager informed us that he wasn't "supposed" to provide an additional set, which felt unhelpful.The washers and dryers, while appearing clean, had an unpleasant smell when we used them. Additionally, many of the rooms face west, so by evening, they become quite hot. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in each room was ineffective, leaving us uncomfortable as the rooms didn't cool down adequately.Throughout our three-night, four-day stay, the night manager seemed unwilling to help with our requests. This lack of responsiveness made us feel as though we were pleading for basic assistance.Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It may look appealing initially, but extended stays reveal multiple issues that staff seem unwilling to address. We felt more like we were begging for service than being treated as guests. For a three-day stay, an additional towel change would have been available at a small fee.Stove: The stove has been checked and is fully functional. It is unfortunate that you did not inform us of this issue during your stay, as we would have been able to assist you promptly.Washing machine/dryer: The appliances in our apartment may retain the scent of the detergent used by previous guests. We thoroughly clean them after each stay, and we have not received complaints about this issue in the past.Air conditioning: Each apartment is equipped with four modern air conditioning units that can cool rooms to 18°C, even during summer temperatures of 40°C. With outdoor temperatures of a maximum of 25°C in November, the units should have easily maintained a comfortable indoor climate. We regret that you experienced otherwise but find this claim difficult to reconcile with the system's performance.Service: Our team is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness, as evidenced by our ratings on Expedia (9.6/10) and Booking.com (9.7/10).   Arkk home in Antalya is located in a bad location. When we arrived at night, we thought we entered into a gang area as there are drawings and vandalism on the walls on the surrounding buildings. It’s hard for car to drive into the main entrance. Our driver who is from the area is concerned for us to stay in this location. Also, the manager working at night is un friendly and not willing to help. We have a party of 3 and asked for extra towels which he refused. Also when call him asking for help with the room, he doesn’t want to answer the phone. When I went down to the reception his was free and chatted with his friends. He also saw our text messages but didn’t want to answer. Kitchen stove did not work and issues with dryer. I will not recommend this place.   My favorite homestay ever

  We literally could not make ourselves leave the apartment. The view is breathtaking. The apartment is enormous. It's situated right near Old Town. This is one of my favorite places to stay at and I'll go back (if it's available! It's normally booked).   The biggest problem is that you don’t want to leave

  The view is just stunning. It takes a bit of time to get used to it really. Right on the edge of old town, 5 mins away from Hadrians gate and the tram stop. The apartment is huge and fully stocked. Ended up cancelling a bunch of activities to just stay at home and chill because the apartment was so good.   Lovely staff, clean modern accomodation in excellent location

  We spent 3 nights in deluxe studio apartment 4A which had lovely view over the old town, sea and mountains. The kitchen/lounge was separated by half a wall from the bedroom area as appears on website. The air conditioner easily cooled the entire space. The bathroom was spacious and had good storage behind the mirror doors. Unfortunately the water in shower did not warm up enough for a comfortable shower. Ours were very quick as a result! Something should be done to rectify this issue as it was most unpleasant. However the pleasantness of the staff more than made up for this deficit. We were warmly greeted when we arrived at midnight (this must be pre arranged because reception closes around 5pm) and the day staff were equally as helpful. We were able to do our own laundry (once it was explained by staff who came to our room to demonstrate) and get great local takeaway coffee and fresh breads etc for breakfast. A nice change from the rich included breakfasts at previous hotels. Sometimes a simple start to the day is needed. We easily walked around the old town of Antalya from Arkk, loved its atmosphere and the harbour/port area in particular. Enjoyed the fish soup and grilled fish at Iskele Fish and Steak House (will leave a separate review) - that meal and location remain a highlight.Our stay was quiet apart from the first morning when we clearly heard a neighbour sneeze! I think they left that day as there was no further disturbance. Staff at Arkk Homes were easy to contact and offered a good rate booking direct. Spoke excellent English. Our stay was exactly what we needed - a convenient, quiet place right beside the old town where we could do some washing, eat whatever breakfast we desired at a time which suited us, and had the support of helpful staff at reception. They booked a taxi to airport for us and offered us the use of umbrellas when the weather didn’t cooperate one afternoon. Fortunately it cleared up nicely later.We do not travel to see beaches as we are blessed an abundance in our home country, so cannot comment about those. We prefer the history and culture of Antalya and it did not disappoint. Well worth a couple of days to enjoy, especially when staying at clean, modern, friendly Arkk Homes.
