Facility

The resort was modernised in 2022. The resort has 8 lifts and a reception desk. Services include a drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas (no extra charge). The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service and a hairdresser. Travellers with bicycles can make use of the on-site bicycle storage area for no extra charge. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning ensures that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Most of rooms include a balcony or terrace as a standard feature. Extra beds can be requested. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy canoeing, diving and water aerobics. The resort offers numerous indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, darts and aerobics or, for a fee, billiards. Various wellness options are available at the resort, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a café, a bar, a lobby bar and a piano bar. A cosy atmosphere and delicious food await guests in 8 non-smoking restaurants (high chairs are available). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive special is offered as a catering option. A breakfast for early birds and late risers, lunch and dinner tempt guests with a wide range of dishes. Gluten-free meals, children's meals and halal food can be prepared on request.     Good central hotel in Taksim

    Clean and spacious room in a very convenient location, surrounded by restaurants. I opted for the Club floor lounge access but was a little disappointed comparing to previous Club floor experiences. The lounge was only open at 12pm with limited cold sandwiches , Turkish sweets and nuts. Hot food was provided from 5pm.Breakfast was ok, with many choices except for meat dishes.The staff was friendly and very helpful.

    This hotel is rated 5 star and it is equivalent to a Motel 6 in the United States. The rug, if you could call it that, is paper thin and replaceable squares. It’s old and needs restoration. I paid for luxury and this is horrible.

    This is a direct quote from my stay at the Point Taksim Hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel has an excellent location, close to Taksim Square, Istiklal Street, and the train station. The breakfast room is wonderful, overlooking the Bosphorus. I would like to thank Mr. Firat from the breakfast room for his hospitality and excellent service.     The hotel is amazing on all aspects, great location where it’s a walking distance to taksim square while still in a special location easy to reach by car, facility is great and clean and very well kept and the staff were great, friendly and welcoming and proactively did all what they could do to make our stay safe and enjoyable.     The last time I stayed at a hotel was during a trip to Istanbul. I stayed there for one week. The hotel’s name was Point Hotel. It had a beautiful lobby. The lobby had brown and red sofas. Near the elevator, there was a Chinese restaurant. It always had many customers. They were happy and laughing together.We stayed on the third floor. Our rooms were big, and we had a beautiful view. We could see the taxi station from the window. On the fifth floor, there was the breakfast room. They didn’t have good coffee, but they had a lot of food — many olives, a lot of cheese, and many kinds of fruit. I always ate green apples because I like them. Near the hotel, there was a food shop, a supermarket, and a Nike store. On the street, there was a Starbucks. The hotel was near Istiklal Street, so you can have the best trip if you stay there.Near the hotel, there were also McDonald’s and KFC, but you needed to walk for about 15 minutes to get there. You could buy food from McDonald’s and KFC. On the left side of the hotel, there was a hypermarket and some fruit shops. There was also a hair salon near the hotel. On the right side, there was the metro, a bus station, and a popular street. However, there wasn’t a park near the hotel for children.
