The entertainment team made our holiday

    rating12 Sept 2025

What a beautiful hotel set in picturesque mountains. We travelled here as two families with children under 10. The entertainment team made this hotel, we could not have been happier with their constant efforts to keep the little ones entertained all day and evening. They even had my daughter sat with them while they ate their tea, at their request which was above and beyond. They made our girls feel very special. You can make your holiday as busy or as chilled as you like. If you like the pool games and dancing then secure a sun lounger in the main pool near to the restaurant & beach bar. My husband enjoyed taking part in the pool activities and we all loved a morning dance on the bridge. If you prefer a more chilled vibe then go near the children's pool. We alternated depending on how we felt each day. The rooms were a decent size and the hotel itself didn't feel overcrowded. The cleaning staff work tirelessly all day. They walk around the pool areas constantly cleaning. They had different themes each night for food and we never struggled to find something to eat. Book into the a la carte Marine Restaurant, amazing food in there. And catch the sunrise for a spectacular view across the sea and mountain range. This is the first time I've seen my daughter come away from a holiday genuinely upset at the prospect of leaving. Don't hesitate to book if you're considering this hotel.

    Super holiday

    rating17 Aug 2025

At first I would like to say that we were very satisfied with this hotel. There were few things to mention we did not like but first things we liked:+ All the stuff was very helpful, hard-working, nice, communicative especially with children.+ The toilets at the beach, floor around swimming pools, paths between the bungalows it was wiped all the time. + Every day clean towels and wiped floor in our room.+ Food was delicious - every day you could choose from different kinds of meat (not pork of course), potatoes, rice, chips, there was typical kebab, sushi one evening, a lot of vegetables, sweets (best baclava).., fruits … for breakfast - pancakes, omelletes, pastry, toast... Now cons:- when we arrived the receptionist gave us the information in a strange way - she turned the display on us where there was written something in Turkish and next to it Czech translation (it was broken Czech because of the translator) - very poor information…for example we didn’t know the time of lunch, dinner…. after calling the reception for this information her colleague told me that on the desk under the tv there is everything written… it could be nice if the staff speak English or at least tell us as much as possible - the snack and ice cream - invisible, faded and old sings- we didn’t see the complete menu where you can see what they offer (waffle, hamburger, chips, different kinds of shakes - we had to ask if they have it…) - beach is great - clean, sandy, quite steep entrance to the water but even our 3 years daughter managed it without difficulties, there are pebbles and stones but as I said it was ok - The pier - that is the thing that could be repaired and little bit improved - the ladder from the sea is very rusty and me and my children were scratched by it. My recommendation would be to paint it and maybe put there some flowers, lights (for night's walking) something to make it more attractive….but still the view of the mountains from the pier is excellent - now I am getting to the worst part and that is the afternoon sea - unfortunately this is a problem that can not be solved by the hotel, but I have to mention this - in the morning the sea was super clear, but after noon the mess started to appear in the water - microplastic, pieces of plastic, I could see there a plaster …. Which was disgusting and that is why we did not visit the beach in the afternoon and were in the swimming pool… I really wonder why this is happening, last year we were visiting also Turkey but Lara destination (next to Antalya) and there was not such a problem with the sea…

    Fantastic stay

    rating19 Jul 2025

Fabulous hotel perfect for families and couples. We stayed in room 809 which was large and spacious it was very close to the pool and restaurant with sea views. Our room was cleaned and towels changed on a daily basis. All meals and have been great, breakfast fresh omlettes, fried eggs, continental meats , breads , cereals , yogurts, pancakes. There is a snack bar where you can get burgers chips, jacket potatoes, pizza, ice creams and waffles during the day as well as the buffet restaurant which serves a variety of food for lunch and dinner - plenty of choice even for fussy eaters. Ignore any comments about the staff here they are all lovely and speak english. The bar staff are great serving a variety of drinks all day long. Big shout out to the great animation team. The pool and beach is lovely with clear sea and plenty of sun beds.Would we come back yes 100%

    Great week

    rating23 Oct 2024

Amazing place where the hotel is not like a block of flats, but small one-storey villas in a large beautiful garden. This guarantees a view from almost everywhere, especially from the pool and especially from the sea to the mountains that rise up a little above the hotel. Views therefore guaranteed always and everywhere 😊 WiFi worked very well throughout the whole area except for the outlying parts of the beach free of charge. Check in possible upon arrival as reception entered the details into the system (check in: room number and guest name).Accommodation perfect, spacious rooms with balcony where there is no lack of a bathing suit dryer and towel, there is also a sitting area with a table. There are plenty of drawers in the room, there is a fridge, bedside tables, plenty of storage space, wardrobe. The bathroom is also spacious enough, the shower is separated by glass from the toilet, so there is no risk of splashing all over the bathroom. Cleaning every day including towel change. In the bathroom plenty of hygiene products. It is true that in the evening there was a little noise from the disco, but that's only because we had a room right at the edge. On the other hand, when the door to the balcony was closed, nothing could be heard. And the air conditioning was working. The restaurant great food of all tastes, smells and types, new every day, everyone will find their own and be equally surprised every day. Plenty of seats at the tables, tables are also by the pool, pleasant climate. Drinks in the restaurant in glass, no plastic 😊. Helpful and skillful service, no leftovers, piles of plates etc anywhere. Everything clean. If we wanted a table from where someone had just left, just ask the attendant to clean up and it was immediately fulfilled incl place settings. There are also always meals prepared right in front of us - pancakes and crepes, Turkish pizza, bread, pasta, grilled meat, etc.Two bars, one closer to the pool, the other between the pool and the beach. In both again helpful and skilful service. Drinks - the cocktails were mixed (yes really properly mixed), so they tasted as they should and not like somewhere, whatever you have, everything tastes the same....... Excellent Turkish coffee, tea, juice and water available from postmix, other soft drinks and alcohol available at the bars. Snacks at the pool bar between meals and in the evening, fresh chips, pasta etc. Definitely no one could be hungry or thirsty :-D There was plenty of seating at both bars. Drinks were served in glass, in case you said takeaway (e.g. to the beach), they were poured into a plastic but sturdy cup (similar to those from festivals, football etc). There were plenty of umbrellas and sun loungers on the beach, and there was always a table and a trash can under each umbrella (this is not usual), so everything was fine. There were mattresses on the sunbeds. Beach towels were available at any time in exchange for a card on arrival, or in exchange for a used towel (no deposit, no charge). Entrance to the sea either via a short jetty where you can jump, or a ladder, or sandbags (a sort of walkway to the sea 😊 directly from the beach) or anywhere from the beach, but beware - you need water shoes. The beach is sandy, but there are pebbles on the shore and at the edge of the sea too, and since there is quite a steep entrance, it goes down pretty fast 😊, then shoes make it much easier to enter. You can swim all the way to the buoys, so quite far. No one is squeezing on the beach or in the sea, swimming is really cool 😊 The lifeguard watches over the safety from above and there is also a "security guard" who is always walking and checking the beach. So this aspect is also taken care of. The whole area is clean, beautiful well maintained garden, constant presence of some of the staff (cleaners, bartenders, waiters, maids, etc). The toilet at the pool,/bars/beach was always relatively clean and dry, toilet paper was also always available. There is nothing to fault with the Hotel Club Boran Mare. It's not luxurious, but it doesn't need to be and we certainly don't seek it out. It's a lively, well maintained hotel and you can see the effort to keep it that way. Not just put on a show of ostentation, but nothing on the inside. As for the guests. We were there of about 4 nationalities: Czechs, Poles, Germans and Russians. Not one nationality was favored had privileges. We even once witnessed the staff politely escorting out a gentleman at lunch who went in shirtless/shirtless and only in a swimsuit. What nationality he was we don't know and it didn't matter. It was shown that it's not nationality that counts, but politeness and that counts. So we certainly couldn't complain about either. No one was "shouted down" and we didn't experience anyone overreacting and then acting out. We may have been lucky to have cultured guests, but I trust the staff in this case to know what they should be doing. The evening disco was louder, but in these countries it's just the rule :D They played Czech songs on request (M. David, H. Vondráčková, Kabáti, Gott, etc.).There was no problem to speak English. Both at the reception (you would expect it there) and anywhere else, the maid didn't speak that much, but what was needed was enough 😊 At the bar and in the restaurant they spoke perfect German, Russian, Polish, English, sometimes even some Czech......At the reception there is a museum of the Soviet Union. But decent and nice. Paintings, newspapers, books, etc. It certainly didn't offend. The museum was off to the side of the counter, so those who didn't want to, didn't have to. Everything was clean and nicely organized.I can in good conscience recommend the Hotel Club Boran Mare to all ages. From little ones to the very old 😊So again next time. Looking forward to it.......
