Location

The hotel is located in Konakli, 12 km from Alanya, situated on a wonderful private sandy small pebble beach in the touristic centre of Konakli. Links to the public transport network are within around 15 minutes' walk. Antalya Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 120 km.

Facility

The property includes 26 villas/houses as well as 209 rooms, including 179 double rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a dining room and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. All-inclusive is offered as a catering option. A delicious and varied buffet awaits guests at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The hotel also offers snacks. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Worst ethical experience

    This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a Holiday Inn Hotel. They have 2 hotels in this destination and I made a mistake with the location here. At the hotel where I stayed they told me that they can cancel the reservation without any penalty since I’m staying in the same area. The manager of this hotel didn’t want to do the cancellation. This is just about ethics and it’s clear that this location doesn’t has it.     1st visit we arrived in the rain on a motorcycle. With Expedia reservations made previously the female desk clerk could not/would not find our reservation. I showed her my phone with the reservation confirmation. She would not budge - no apology nor any attempt to help us. I stood firm with a line behind me forming. She called Expedia - only after I made it clear that I was not going to be turned away. She did eventually give us a room - but no apology for the wait or the confusion. I'm not even sure the hotel was booked full that night - it did not appear all that busy for her to turn us away back into the rain.Two weeks later we made Expedia reservations for this hotel again and there was another friendlier, helpful female at the desk. She found our reservation and quickly gave us a room.The nice thing about this hotel is its proximity to a lot of very good restaurants.     A place to avoid, at least until their renovations end

    I am normally very positive about IHG properties but this location really disappointed me. It appears the entire first floor is being renovated. Unfortunately we were placed on the second floor, meaning we heard a lot of hammering. Also, at times there was no hot water or what water there was trickled out. The gym is also closed for renovations but management had no Plan B (perhaps offering guests the option to work out around the corner at one of the two other IHG properties would be a good idea). Neither the renovation nor the gym being closed were mentioned on the IHG site---otherwise, I would have stayed at the Staybridge Suites or the Intercontinental nearby.There is a great empanada restaurant near to the Staybridge Suites and a wonderful outdoor food truck area nearby.     Stayed one night, helpful front desk, clean room, comfortable bed, good breakfast, lots of hot water, much needed after a long day driving, will stop there we are passing through, easy access to highway and all amenities.
