Facility

The bungalow complex was modernised in 2023. Guests have a choice of 553 rooms. English- and German-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Guests who have booked all-inclusive will receive a welcome drink. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A fireplace creates a cosy atmosphere. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park for no extra charge. Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed, a king-size bed or a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor pool complex includes a children's swimming area and is ideal for working out or just relaxing. A waterslide and a refreshing drink at the poolside snack bar offer the perfect way to unwind. Parasols and comfortable sun loungers are available on the sun terrace. The complex offers an extensive outdoor sports programme, including tennis, bocce, beach volleyball, volleyball, basketball and archery. A number of sports are available, including water sports such as jet skiing, sailing and water aerobics. For a fee, guests can also enjoy banana boat rides, canoeing, diving and parasailing. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, badminton, darts, squash, yoga, aerobics and pilates. There is a wellness area with a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam, a beauty salon and aromatherapy and, for an additional fee, a spa and anti-ageing treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club, a kids' disco, live music, a dance club and a nightclub.

Meals

Dining facilities include a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Guests can dine in a cosy atmosphere at the restaurant (smoking area and à la carte). Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. All-inclusive can be booked. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. Baby food (no extra charge) provides for little ones' well being. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. The complex offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    200 of us visited this hotel just last week for our workation. Our main goal was to bond and have fun, and the Marco Polo Hotel made us feel like it was the worst experience of our fourth year in Turkey.Starting with a super hideous and dirty hotel with a smell of cat piss everywhere and mold in the bathrooms. There were no proper blankets on the beds, only some throw-ons. To get a standard blanket, I contacted Guest Relations. They made me write a five-star review here to get what I asked for. So don't get fooled by the number of good reviews you see here.Also, all staff members spoke only Russian and didn't understand English. We were really pissed off because we were not in the mood to deal with assumptions of being russians.They had original drinks in the bars, but they purposely poured in the fake ones, the local alcohol. If you asked them to fill in the original Baileys or Bacardi or whatever (cause they also had those on shelves), they would start shouting at you while showing the non-original bottle and saying that's the original…The grass was too long; they did not care about the surroundings. The ground was uneven, and you could always sprain your ankle or trip while walking because it was really unprepared.The conference room where we had our workshop smelled like cat piss; there were cat poos all over the floor. The ventilation everywhere is terrible. Everything is chipped and broken, and looks really bad.The navigation was really tricky, and every night we were looking for our room, walking in circles, because the room signs were really small and placed in very random places.Overall, I hated the experience, and if 200 of us wrote our honest reviews, this hotel's rating would come from 4.5 to 2.5. Do not go to Marco Polo unless you want a cheap experience in a cheap hotel where everyone treats you like a Russian.
