Great 4-star experience with wonderful staff and beautiful views

    rating29 May 2026

LocationThe hotel is located in the Lara district, relatively close to the airport. In the surrounding area, there are tons of shopping malls (e.g., TerraCity), restaurants, pubs, cafes, etc. The city center (Kaleiçi) is easily accessible by bus (which costs around €1), but taxis are also affordable (€8). One of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls (Lower Düden) is about a 45-minute walk away. The neighborhood is pleasant, and the coastal promenade is beautiful. However, you have to get used to the car traffic, as it is quite heavy and follows its own unique rules.RoomWe specifically looked for a room with a sea view, and that is exactly what we got, complete with a small, cozy balcony and a two-person balcony set. The double-bed layout and the furniture, which matched the four-star rating (a fridge [stocked only with water], a desk, and a chair), made the 22-square-meter space feel a bit tight. In return, however, the bathroom was quite large and spacious. The door closer mechanism is rather strong, causing the door to close slowly but slam hard, which could potentially wake up the neighbors.Spa & MassageDuring the unexpectedly cool weather, the small wellness section came in very handy. It is indeed quite small, but every inch of it is fully utilized, featuring 4–5 massage rooms, a sauna, an indoor pool, and a Turkish bath (Hamam). The local staff is very kind. We felt truly refreshed thanks to our therapists, Nardos and Şezle, and the manager of the spa, Yasar, is a kind person with a calming personality that perfectly fits the venue. The massages and other services are reasonably priced and truly guest-oriented.Beach & Diving CenterThere is no sandy or pebbly beach; instead, a long flight of concrete stairs leads from the hotel (which sits on a cliffside) down to the seaside pier, where there was usually enough space for the guests. For those who like to jump or dive straight into deep water, it is excellent. Otherwise, the lack of shallow water can be inconvenient, though this can be supplemented at other city beaches. Lifeguards are on duty, and life jackets are available for guests to use.The diving center is located in a slightly hidden spot at the edge of the seaside pier. They are a very friendly team. Gabriel, one of the leaders, conducted the training, and Menekşe helped with the diving. Both possess great pedagogical skills. The dive was only €50, which is really reasonable for a one-hour program that includes photos and videos. Furthermore, a very cool variety of marine life unfolded in the coastal waters.Special ProgramsHolidays are celebrated properly here, and the hotel always prepares something special for these occasions. Additionally, guests could sign up for special dinners twice a week—there was an Italian and a seafood night. These were enjoyable a'la carte dinners accompanied by local wines.EntertainmentWe did not take much advantage of it, but the hotel offers several colorful, activity-based programs every day of the week except Sundays. In the evenings, light music and occasional live music entertained the guests.Meals & DiningThe buffet setup offered a mix of Turkish cuisine and classic continental dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is quite varied for a while, but after a week, it becomes somewhat repetitive. The staff is kind but clearly overworked; as a result, silverware does not always arrive at your table on time, and seating issues occurred in a few instances. That being said, the kitchen and restaurant staff are sweet, kind, and attentive to the guests—after a while, we knew almost all of them by name.StaffThe hotel employees were guest-oriented, friendly, and courteous at all times. Not everyone speaks English or German, which occasionally made them feel a bit embarrassed, but this was only a minor inconvenience. Everyone, from the cleaning staff to the bartenders and the head waiter, was extremely helpful.Cleaning & CleanlinessThe rooms and common areas were clean. The only sketchy spot was the centrally located underground restroom block, which was both smelly and dirty. Glasses and silverware also occasionally remained a bit dirty after machine washing, and the cat population, which is an integral part of the city, caused some mess in the yard. However, compared to the general cityscape, this is almost negligible; the hotel overall appeared clean. The lady cleaning our room was exceptionally kind and thorough.Wi-FiNowadays, staying connected to the world is not a minor detail: Wi-Fi was accessible everywhere across the hotel property and worked perfectly fine.

    Excellent value and very spacious

    rating28 May 2026

This hotel was very comfortable and clean. Most notable was the excellent value for an all-inclusive package (e.g. 3 meals -- high quality buffet-style with enormous selection).

Lovely hotel! Please take food for the cats 🐈

    rating24 May 2026

My partner and I had a lovely experience. On arrival I must say I was very surprised with the size of the room. We had 2 suitcases and there was only a small cupboard and 1 small set of draws. I have a little ocd so this really overwhelmed me (this probably wouldnt affect or bother a lot of people). The management were extremely helpful and assisted with helping to fix this the very next day.The rooms were clean, cleaned every day by the amazing cleaners. Food was absolutely delicious! We loved all of the meals (i was addicted to the cakes)! To give a mention to the snack bar on the lower level by the pool also did equally amazing food. The lady who makes the flat bread is lovely.Pool was nice, decking by the sea was nice but note there's quite a few steps to get there (take some food - catfood or chicken) for the 2 cats mum and baby that live there). Now onto the cats which took over my holiday... there's alot of them. Some are friendly some are nervous but all adorable. I was surprised how little I saw people feeding them - as a big animal lover every morning and evening my partner and I walked to the park just next to the hotel and fed many hungry cats and kittens and walked up the road to the bins and fed the others up that road (please dont forget those dumpster cats). If you are there please feed them and leave some water out - they need it and some just want a cuddle so get that hand sanitiser and go give them some love. Also the little black kitten who I think now owns the security area and will greet you with his white/tabby friend who is teaching him how to be a cat - we called him Falcon and he loves a cuddle and food! The pet shops there sell cat biscuits cheaper for stray cats. I got 1kg for 150 lira.Hammam in the spa was lovely - recommend sticking to the hotel hammams as local ones I discovered were not 'professional. We used the hotel as my partner had his teeth done at Dentatur (highly recommend). Great location, great food, great staff. We didnt see the entertainment but it sounded good!Would definitely stay there again for our next trip but was slightly over budget for us in September otherwise we would have been happy to stay again.

    Various sport activities

    rating24 May 2026

Really nice hotel, offering plenty of free activities, such as morning yoga, pilates, aquaerobics; Anastasia was our coach for yoga, and she really made our stay entertaining and active even though we normally choose passive rest on the beach 😅. But this time we didn't skip a single class. Anastasia was very attentive to the technique, set a good mood, and even taught us how to play a hand pan, a special musical instrument for meditation! Highly recommend attending her classes, rebooting your body and mood 🧘‍♀️

    Blissful

    rating20 May 2026

Had a great experience at the Falcon Hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, and you could tell that tipping for good service really meant a lot to them too.The food was exceptional for an all-inclusive resort, with plenty of choice every day. Six out of the seven nights were genuinely incredible. There was only one evening where the food didn’t quite match the standard of the others, but overall I was extremely satisfied with the service, food quality, and cleanliness throughout the stay.I’d happily come back to this hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway — especially if your plan is to bake in the sun, switch off completely, get fat and drunk. Money very well spent. Also get a massage. The girls are great. The guy can try upsell far to much and end up forcing you away rather than make you feel comfortable to come in. I’d suggest not ripping of customers and focus on better prices and keep the place busy and booming. The UK like a deal and don’t like to feel scammed Some feedback for the small shop. Get a better selection of crisps. The selection of crisps were not the best.
