  Great Location, Great Service, Great Experience

  We had a really great experience at this hotel. The place is beautiful, in a very nice location, and everything was kept very clean. A special mention to the cleaning ladies, who did a wonderful job every day, the room was always spotless and well taken care of.Our room initially didn’t have a safe or a fridge, but once we mentioned it, the staff quickly helped us and provided both, which we really appreciated.Breakfast being included was a big plus, and again, the staff made all the difference. From the gentleman at reception who gave us great tips on where to eat and drink, to the girl who kindly explained how to get to the station to catch a colectivo, and the girl who did our check-in — everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming.A very special thank you goes to brother Kael, our breakfast waiter. We had the chance to talk with him, and he is truly an amazing person, very friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. He made our mornings extra special. Special thanks as well to the lady working at breakfast for her kindness and great service.Overall, it was a wonderful stay with an amazing team.

  OK place with room for improvement to become guest centric.

  Ok'ish.Let's start with the positive or what just should be basics:- room gets cleaned every day- staff is friendly- new towels etc. can be requested- WiFi is goodNow the parts where improvement is required:1) Breakfast you cannot offer breakfast and let everyone wait almost an hour every day... (due to not having enough space for guests)Just some ideas: Prepare tea and coffee in advance and let the guests serve it themselves instead of taking the order and serve.Limited space downstairs. Why not use the terrace on the roof, the breakfast can be prepared at the bar there.2)Fix small details like the missing table top/plate from the sofa area on the first floor.3)The use of plastic cups and knife/fork even though food is consumed in the hotel seems unnecessary.Even saw a cup in the plant area in the atrium...4) Staff is friendly but seems overwhelmed at times with the lack if organization in the morning. As a guest I don't feel anyone is there to create a awesome guest experience but it's rather just a job, but that is more than likely connected to the management style of the place rather then the staff members themselves.All in all OK but not really guest centric.If you need a clean place with WiFi to stay and nothing else than you'll be fine.

  thieves, delapidated and disgusting hotel

  Not only is the hotel in disrepair but downright dangerous with ( police tape) holding the railings together on the top floor. The non functional elevator serves as a rat habitat. The bed bugs are amazing and long lasting fun on your feet and ankles weeks after our stay is over. The pool which looks amazing is only 15 inches deep, 20x12 feet. Lastly "the crème de la crème" is that the hotel manager (Miss YASURI) knowingly gave us a defective lock for the room safe. Then again knowingly upgraded us to the top floor which was the "only room" that did not have a direct line of site from the pool as well as the only floor without updated and functioning cameras so no evidence of the crime that occured three days later. The thieves (thief) then opened the door to the room with a key (no break in at all) to have at the room to rob while we were only 50 feet away one floor below at the baby pool. The view again obstructed by the non functional elevator. They robbed us of over $40 thousand in cash and jewelry as well as devastating loss of jewelry from my wifes deceased grandmother that cannot be replaced. Of course insurance does not cover anything in Mexico wonder why as well.This was Totally an inside job from day one when they saw my wife and I with our expensive watches, jewelry and carrying her Gucci purse. "They saw us coming" Stupid on our part but we have traveled the world for decades and have never had any issues. Live and learn. So to finish the trip I wasted half a day of our last day at the (fiscaleria) DA's office filling forms out and talking to the Police (that came immediately after we learned of the crime). Their recomendations where to make sure we pay all of the bribes otherwise the investigation will not occur. Unfortunately they made away with all of our cash and credit cards so no bribes could be paid if that would have even helped. So we ahve been home now for a month and nothing has happened and hotel management has kept in contact because I continually reach out daily waiting for the police to show up knowing that we had no money and could not pay the bribes necessary for the investigation. Of course the thieves were nice enough to leave licenses and passports so we could leave the country the next day. Although in hindsight very smart so we didnt have to stay any longer to create a bigger scene in the front office than necessary. I am spanish Itaian and know the language very well and if given time would have gone the 90 minute drive to the american embasy but had no money for even a bus ride. I have continued to harrass the general manager Lucas who seems like he cares but knows that nothing will happen without me being there so he probably laughs every day knowing that they all split the proceeds of the heist. Without payouts for the legal system nothing will happen im sure of it.

  It is absolutely mind boggling that this " So Called Hotel"is still listed on every 3rd party platform !!!!! THEY ARE THIEVES !!!!!!!!!! The only thing guarneteed is that "YOU WILL BE ROBBED " and then you will be up all night thinking about which one of these employees did it , because Senor Frogs is your neighbor and they shut down at exactly 3am.!!!!!! Every other review is that someone was robbed !!!!! They took the contnets of our safe !!! All cash, jewelry , purse, and car keys with fobs. To make it even better .... THEY STOLE BOTH SETS!!!! I am 3 weeks in waiting for new keys to be laser cut in England and the car reprogrammed !!!! And I get to pay 1400.00 JUST FOR THE FOBS !!!!!!!! At what point will you deem it UNSAFE !!!!! The first attempt they did not realize I was in the room. So brilliantly had a small folded towel in his hand as his decoy , just in case someone was in the room. They staff was the most callus , unsimpathetic group of employees I have ever met !!!!The only think that is guarenteed is you will get to waste a full useless day at the police station , basically for no reason at all !!!!!!!! Oh and throw your suitcases away and your clothes once you are home. Then make a Dr's appointment for antibiotics from all of the bed bug bites!!!
