    Not the Best Place to Stay

    When we arrived our room was not ready. The evening clerk did not tell us that; instead putting us in another. I think this was something that his computer told him to do for some reason. The room we were put in supposedly was smoke-free but there was a smoke odor. The door lock was problematic also. And it was not fully accessible to fit my wife's needs. The clerk had to clean the right room which had evidence of some work having been done it in including a coating of construction dust in the bathroom and significant dust just outside the bathroom. Plus a fine coating in the rest of the room. He stated that he had been gone for four days and not informed about whatever had been being done to the room.The following day while we were at a memorial service housekeeping cleaned the room but left no towels or washclothes or a bathmat. When talked to the evening clerk when we got back he stated they were all out of linen and there was nothing he could do about it due to loss and destruction of linen last year by a number of football teams and that their supplier was not coming through with new ones. I suggested someone should just go to Walmart and pick up some. That seemed beyond his initiative. I also told him that there was no handicapped shower chair in the bathroom as had been promised that morning. He knew nothing about shower chairs and had to call his manager who told him where to find them. While he was on the phone I addressed the manager about the lack of linen. She suggested that the clerk check to see if they have any of the black linen used by workers; stating that it would be clean. The clerk was able to find only two clean black hand towels.Two stars because they are low-priced; were very pet friendly; and the fellow seemed pretty nice in spite of not being able to figure out how to get us what we needed for linen.     My New Go To Stop Traveling 79!

    I just discovered this RRI in November, and have been back 3x since then. My last trip being on February 16. The staff is amazing and personalbe. I had an issue with a booking date, because there was a big storm coming through and I had to rebook the next day. I thought it would be impossible because I booked it through a 3rd part company. However, I called the hotel anyway and, Jeff (front desk) was able to to switch it easily and was incredibly nice.When I checked in, I requested my favorite room (106) and the lady working the front desk was gracious enough to honor the request.Hotel is very well maintained, pet friendly, quiet and very reasonably priced! This is my go to from now on traveling back and forth from New York! Top notch! Highly recommend!     Nice clean, but dated, rooms. The hotel could use a refresh but it’s still the same family friendly service. Be careful, there’s lots of dog poop on the property because they are dog friendly.     Average for overnight road trip. Needs better cleaning program

    Made reservation through Priceline for bargain price. First room offered had noticeable odor, not offensive but a little musty-ish, so we asked for another room. Gracious attendant. Second room had no odor. We always use sanitizing wipes for touch surfaces and discovered more dirt than expected on nightstand, sink counter and backsplash lip, bathroom floor corners, and surprisingly, the window was extremely cloudy with some sort of residue. The bathroom fan was very noisy, so when turned on during the night, woke others. There were many trucks in parking lot, perhaps overnight workers from miles of road construction nearby. Most were gone when we departed. Condition of rooms is probably acceptable to construction workers, but not really up to standard for general public.Complementary coffee in pump thermoses in office. Many restaurant options very nearby. Staff was friendly, helpful, informative.     This is an old property and not updated but very clean, neat, and seemed to be well-run. Was an excellent value within that setting. Front Desk staff helpful about area restaurants, etc. I would stay again, which is pretty unusual in this price category.
