    HMA Hotel & Suites is a small, family-run hotel. When we visited in September 2025, they were in the process of doing the place up, which was nice to see.The rooms were quite basic, but perfectly fine for somewhere to lay your head after a long day.It’s located close to the town Center with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. About 10 minutes walk to the beach.The downstairs area was lovely. There’s a small pool with loungers and soft beds, which made it really relaxing. Breakfast was simple, but the lunches and dinners were absolutely beautiful.What really made the stay was the staff—they couldn’t have been any nicer. We felt so at home from the moment we arrived. On our last night, the chef kindly made a special meal for myself, my daughter, and my mother-in-law to thank us for staying, which was such a thoughtful touch—and the food was amazing.Overall, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday.

    Just spent 4 weeks here, for the money it’s excellent value. It offers a very affordable self catering base in the best street in Alanya, near to all the little shops and cafes that locals use. Near to the harbour, the sea,the mountains,supermarkets ,the Friday market,the Sunday market and all the buses. The rooms are huge and are very basic but have 2 big balconies and a kitchen. I found the beds comfortable and there were cosy blankets. The staff are lovely.My only criticism is that the curtains let in a lot of the light around the edges and I asked for a back room to get the sunlight but got a front room. It was fun looking out at the busy street though.Anything we had missing for our comfort and cooking use we bought very cheaply from Sali pazari 82 across the road.

    Nice room with a Nice bathroom and a good view. The pillows were really hard, witch made it harder to fall asleep. Great service by the staff and cleening personell. The pool erea was wonderful, with great sunbeds and good food. One thing that sets my rating down, is the hotel breakfast. It was not much to choose between, and not a really great taste eather.

    2nd time we have stayed here always been a pleasurable experience. 1st time top floor on the pool side. 2nd time 5th floor kitchenette facing the block on the side. Kitchenette was a experience just 2 hotplates no microwave, one plug socket for hot plate and kettle. Cutlery was very sparse as were the plates.Pool bar is underused(don't know why) food in the hotel has always been of a good standard.Staff are polite and very helpful. Hotel is clean, the pool was sparkling.Special mention for Norrie, who is always there and his sidekick Hassam. Will go back again if in Alanya.

    Just returned from a brilliant 10 day stay. I'm not sure where the bad reviews about staff are coming from because staff here are so warm and friendly, they can't do enough for you and really make you feel welcome. Pool area is immaculate, plenty of beds and the Balinese beds are a nice touch. Within walking distance of the harbour, few great local places to eat out right on the doorstep, although the food and drinks at HMA are really reasonably priced as well as being very tasty. Special shout out to Noori the barman - we miss you already! Will definitely return, thank you to all the fantastic staff who work really hard, from Jill, Pete and Caitlin.
