    We stayed for 14 nights at the Mayflower and loved our time there. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The manager, Sevket, was exceptionally nice, efficient and professional when needed.The hotel was superb too, very clean and spacious. We dined in the restaurant a couple of nights. The food was very good and prices were reasonable. Beer was cheaper here than at most of the local bars. The walk to the beach was under 15 minutes. The hotel is in a good location and it is easy to walk about as there were no hills. Unless you wanted to visit the castle which is at the top of a large hill. There is a cable car which takes you to the castle, one price for Turkish people, all others pay three times as much. I recommend going to see the castle by bus, 60 lira. There is a 12 Euro charge to go inside the castle. The beach was nice and sandy but be careful going for a swim as there are rocks under the water making it difficult to walk into the sea.     Horrible noisy worn down / rude staff

    Wouldn’t recommend this nasty hotel. We spend a week in a horrible noisy totally worn down apartment- we asked every day to change room. Can- the boy in reception lied and claimed that all 75 rooms were booked by the familys for 20 days! We talked to 4 different couples in the hotel and they were there for only a week and had changes their rooms!! The people in the reception and the incompetence hotel manager -who told me all the other guests were lying to me when they told me they could change their rooms! So rude and disrespectful to say your guests are lying. The cleaning lady is sweet and wonderful- she has a hard job when the apartment are so badly worn down.We come to Alanya 2 times every year and fore the last 20 years - have never ever experienced such a horrible hotel. There are many wonderful lovely friendly hotels in Alanya- spend your money there. Stay away from mayflower.     Phenomenal - get booked!

    As I sit in the Corner Bistro for the last time, while I await my transfer, it feels like the perfect time to share my wonderful experience. Cleanliness - the hotel and all areas are exceptionally clean and well maintained.Pool - although smaller than other hotels, the pool was the ideal size. It was the perfect temperature and depth for people of all ages and swimming abilities.The rooms - although dated, the rooms were immaculate and very comfortable. The air conditioning was very well priced and worth every penny!Location - short walk to the main 'strip', small shop across the road, and pharmacy around the corner. Taxi or dolmus ride to old town. Longer, but achievable walk to Cleopatra Beach. Staff - very helpful and knowledgeable. They would move heaven and earth to help. No matter time of day or request. Other patrons - from what we saw, all other patrons were kind, respectful and easy going. Those we spoke to, shared the same views on the hotel. We are currently booking our next holiday back to this hotel, usually we do not go back to the same place twice, but for the first time ever, we can't wait to return!     I was harassed by a receptionist who stared at me every evening and looked me up on Instagram using the name from my booking. He then messaged me inappropriately.He even admitted that contacting me could cause problems for his job, but chose to message me anyway.This behavior is completely unacceptable from hotel staff, and I would not recommend this place to any young women traveling alone.I can provide a screenshot of the message if management is interested. I truly hope this is taken seriously.     The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful, they’re happy to do whatever they can to help wherever they can with whatever it is you need. From the moment you arrive the staff are helpful, happy to help carry bags inside and take them up to your room for you and when you leave help to take them outside to the coach for you even helping to carry heavy bottles of water for you. The room was clean and comfortable, maids come every day and are extremely friendly. Not a large hotel but very comfortable, the pool area is small but pleasant with a separate area if you’re just looking for somewhere peaceful to sunbathe and relax. I didn’t eat breakfast there as I decided to just make my own in the kitchenette attached to the room but I did regularly go for dinner at the corner restaurant which is attached and a part of the hotel and the staff were very pleasant and the food was phenomenal. Already looking to return next year, wasn’t expecting much when I first booked but it turned out to be genuinely one of the most pleasant places I’ve stayed. In a great location, close to the beach though can be a bit tricky to find but taxis are easy to call for with literally the press of a button (buttons are located on streets and a taxi will almost immediately turn up, one outside of the doors of the hotel and one at the corner of the street) and cheap and it is surrounded by restaurants and shops in every direction. The only fault I had with my experience was nothing to do with the hotel at all, only the heat as it is extremely strong and was perhaps a bit much for me but the air con (that is an extra charge but worth it) made up for the heat outside. Beds were the most comfortable I’ve experienced in a hotel and the pillows especially were lovely.
