    Worst hotel I’ve ever been.

    rating19 Feb 2026

I'm surprised that this restaurant has been given 5 stars here. I think a person must live in a really terrible shack if they think this is worth 5 stars. Just because the hotel is close to the beach doesn't justify such a good review. And it's hard to find anything else good about this hotel. The hotel was dreary and gloomy. It seems like it has been on its own for decades. The room was small and an extra bed had been crammed in, meaning there was one queen size and one extra single bed in the room. There wasn't much space left in the room to move around. There was a wardrobe and a few hangers on it. The top shelf of the wardrobe was practically the only place to store clothes. It was just difficult to find them there, as it was quite high up, even though I'm quite tall. The curtains were terrified and wrinkled. The television was a little bigger than A4 paper and dirty all over. The toilet and shower rooms were small and there were splatters on the walls. Hot water came occasionally, best in the morning. The cleaner came every day and changed the towels and folded the blanket, but I don't know what else she does. An unpleasant surprise was that she left the balcony door open when she left. So if we had gone to the beach right after breakfast, our balcony door was open all day until we came back to the room. Our room was on the first floor, and we didn't like that our balcony door was open all day. Everything is dirty and annoying. The bed sheets were terrified and wrinkled, and there were stains on them. I don't know if the bed sheets had been changed at all because they didn't smell clean. And I don't know if they were changed even once during our two-week stay. There were no duvet covers at all, just a rough, thin, light-colored summer cloth and a faded blanket that had been washed many times, which didn't smell clean either. This combination was really disgusting, and in my opinion does not correspond at all to the standard that hotel bedding should be. Yes, bedding should be clean. Other tourists complained about cockroaches, saying that they are a nuisance in the rooms. Fortunately, we did not see any. But there was a strange little thing in the shower, we could not figure out what it was. Was it the cat's work or what? The lobby where breakfast coffee is drunk is dark and dreary. Furniture is sloppy here and there. The staff is equally dreary, with difficulty answering greetings. The exception is Farhat, who with his appearance and Fluffy the cat brightens up the whole place for a moment. In addition, it was particularly disturbing that the workers were walking back and forth. They went to eat or get some breakfast coffee from the table. The room price included breakfast coffee, which included coffee or tea and eggs, cucumber, tomato, olives, salad and cereals. The workers were apparently changing the hotel doors, as is done everywhere in Alanya for fire safety reasons. It just seemed like they would rather sit around and chat over a cup of coffee. The elevator can hold one person with a suitcase. And unfortunately, the level of cleaning was evident as soon as you stepped into the elevator. The outside environment is also bleak. Dirty trash, a jumble of buildings, closed bars. I don't know if the hotel had outdoor tables or if the tables had been brought in for the workers, but in any case the workers were sitting on them. Everything seems to have been left in the 80s. If something had broken, it hadn't been fixed. The overall impression was messy and dull.

Workers were really bad, except the bar person and the cleaner. Who rent the spa were really rude when I did ask my money back because I couldn't go there they didn't wanna give my money back. End of the talking with spa renter he started to yell me , called me a lot of bad names and get the out of MY HOTEL, even we found out that hotel isn't his.. He trowed money at my face and pushed me out when I said, Im gonna write about this or we call the polices that I get my money back. He was really rude, aggressive and he was scaring me by his really aggressive manner. When the new people came to hotel, they came to the breakfast room to pushing people bay of they spa- really rude. The lift was terrifying, working and not and before us many people stayed inside of the lift , because it stop to working. Breakfast was very poor egg and bread...There was raining very hard and water came in. Rooms were really small, old fashion and very could. Air condescension were 80 €.. Safety box 50 €.. We have traveled around the world but this was most worse hotel, we never ever been. Only + here was a man in a bar, very friendly , kindly and professional( 10 points ) and for cleaner I would give 9 points . Never come to this hotel. We are in vacation and what a picture we got from the hotel, made me thinking everyone else is the same. NEVER EVER COME HERE, EVEN THIS IS SUCH A CHEAP HOTEL. when hotel workers or spa including the hotel are really rude and greedy !!!!! This didn't let me write those bad words, how he called me and ask me go out of his hotel

    Balcony missing

    rating18 Sept 2016

In Alpharoom-reservatin it was mentioned that room has a balcony. The room was very small without balcony. In the room only small double bed, no space to stay in the room. I have stayd in this hotel before and the room has been big with a balcony (same kind of room reservation). Bathroom ok and otherwise excellent.

    Polite and always happy staff

    rating30 Jul 2016

I will highly recommended this to everybody who are not looking luxury on they holiday. All what you need is here to make your holiday perfect. You can find near good restaurants. Also food in hotel is good. On your way to beach you will find market where you get friendly service when you buy water to hot day on beach. Cleaning woman did good work. She change every second day our towel and linen. Our room was always on perfect condition when she has been there. We will certainly come again to this hotel.

    Nice and quiet place

    rating14 Jan 2015

The hotel is really close to the sea (have to cross a road). There are plenty of good restaurants near by (hotel food is average). Micros shop is really close, and an aquapark. The hotel is easy to find, it is in a beautiful small street, and the street lights are like cute little houses! Also the fort is near. Staff is really friendly, and polite. I would go again!
