  I give 1 star only because it was clean and staff was friendly. For a "No Smoking" hotel there were several cigarette burns on the comforter, the entire hallway, both upstairs and downstairs smelled like someone was cooking, not just carryout food. Worst was no smoke detector, only hanging wires where it should have been.

  This hotel is extremely dated and not secure as anyone can access guest rooms. We left right after check in and went to another hotel. When asked about why we were checking out immediately. the front desk staff did not ask why or try to help. Horrible experience and not what I expect from Wyndham.

  Got to our room after leaving the LaPorte County fair. We took showers and went to get into the bed. Pulled the sheets back and found not one, but MULTIPLE dry semen stains on the sheet. The bed had been made, but clearly not washed. Absolutely disgusting

  We have been traveling fairly extensively for decades. Until this happening we had never refused to stay at a place where we'd made a reservation. NASTY! NOT CLEAN! Rude desk clerk. No secure entrance at all. I love to write long glowing reviews. This will be my shortest ever because of the fact everything was horrible and totally unacceptable.Regret that I booked through Priceline because that made it impossible to get a refund even though we arrived early enough that if we'd books with the hotel we could have gotten one. DO NOT GO!
