    I don’t recommend

    rating17 Jan 2026

I don't recommend this hotel. It's designed for Russians and Turks, and hardly anyone spoke English. The rooms are dirty, moldy, and smelly. The food was terrible; several people in our group got sick .The plates and cutlery were dirty. Drunk bartenders served drinks, This is unacceptable! The receptionist sent messages with indecent proposals to our friend. How is that even acceptable? We definitely won't be going back. I don't recommend it. It's a waste of money.

Not all bad - honest review

    rating28 Oct 2025

If you are expecting 5* hotel and if you think ultra all inclusive will be something extra and beautiful you will be very disappointed. But this hotel is not all bad. Please read ALL the comments and make your own mind up. Huge plus of this hotel is location - right next to the beach - water in the sea was absolutely beautiful when we were there - 26 degrees. The only downside is that people "reserve" the sun beds and don't use them through out the day. Hotel pools are quite cold so there was no issues to find sun beds there, aqua park - 5 slides - very annoyingly were not open all day but only during specific times and not all at the same time. There are plenty of shops and bazaars around the hotel so a lot of options to buy souvenirs - something worth mentioning - it's expected to haggle with the seller and it might sometimes look like the seller is angry and they tend to shout in Turkish so some people were put off by this. Our family is a family of jokesters - especially my brother is law so we found the whole process very entertaining and by day 6 of our trip we were "friends" with most of the sellers. Food - well it's Turkey so we expected a lot of kebab but we were really disappointed - food was very repetitive and the main restaurant was struggling with the amount of people they were serving. On the other hand some people are just simply jerks and they would load their plates like there was no tomorrow and then would end up not eating everything and perfectly good food would end up in trash - there was a sea food night where they were serving jumbo prawns but this only lasted for 15 minutes and they run out of it. Breakfast was good - there was an obvious lack of pork products (understandable so no complains there) - so no bacon and no ham only weird looking slices of some sort of poultry mortadela or something like that. There was also a snack bar which was a big hit with the kids - served chips, nuggets and plenty of veg plus different nibbles that were really tasty. Freshly made waffle station was a good addition and also a freshly made lavash (at least I think it was lavash) where you could pick from 3 different toppings - that was a very nice touch too although there could be a lengthy line at times. Ice cream - another big disappointment - only available for 2 hours a day - 2pm-4pm- chocolate, vanilla or strawberry not always all 3 flavours available and some days they would finish serving before 4pm so for our kids it was a big disappointment.Restaurant "a la carte" was a big disappointment - when we booked we were not told what the rules were and we literally left when we saw the main meal - we thought we booked a restaurant where we will be able to choose from one of the dishes from the menu, but the restaurant was a different theme every day and our day turned out to be a "fish day" which is very disappointing for a family who are not fans of fish 🫣🙈Bars - like ice cream to the kids this place was a disappointment for the adults - very poor choice of drinks, very basic vodka, whiskey, rum and gin, I thought ULTRA AI meant better range of drinks but what it meant was - one of the bars was open until 2am every night! Something I have not seen in the Spanish resorts (usually bars close at 11pm or midnight the latest). There was also a special tea bar as Turkey is very famous for its tea brewing. Bar staff were a hit and miss - some of them very helpful and friendly some very grumpy and drunk!!! while serving us drinks!Rooms - very dated (whole hotel in general) and in need of a freshening up. We had 2 types of rooms - standard double and family 2 bedroom which were both sea view and very spacious but both had issues in the bathroom - mould on the ceiling and very smelly through out the day - sewage smell, and although it was clean, the smell could have been unbearable at the times and we always made sure the doors to the bathroom stayed closed. On the plus side - the views from the rooms are absolutely beautiful!Something worth mentioning is that this hotel caters mostly to the Russians and Turkish people with a lot less of British and Polish people. Language can be an issue - some of the staff did not speak English at all and were just ignoring people who would try and speak to them. I found it really hard to understand how can reception of all the places in the hotel be staffed with two females who don't speak English - one older female in particular was very rude and kept on talking to us in Russian - her thinking was because we are from Poland we must speak Russian - that was really annoying. So we would actually time our contact with reception to the times where she wasn't around. On the plus side - male reception staff were very attentive and helpful. So to end a lengthy opinion - we got this hotel for reasonable price - there was some sort of deal on OTB where we even got a free lounge access at the airport so we are not complaining, but if this hotel comes up as more expensive on your search do not think it's because it's really 5* and ultra AI. If I was to pay more for this hotel I would have been annoyed.

    Avoid this hotel

    rating28 Oct 2025

Avoid this hotel. We stayed here in October 2025 and did not fully enjoy our stay here mainly because there is not a mix of nationalities staying here. >90% of guests are Russian and all the entertainment and music in the evening is catering for Russians only. Pool music speakers are fuzzy and out of sync which makes sitting around the pool unpleasant. Manager is odd, he sat in the lobby playing his own music on his phone whilst there was already music playing from the main speakers. Not very relaxing.Staff seem miserable. Majority of Guests were rude and do not use basic manners.Rooms are ok, food not bad. Pool is nice and clean. Beach is great. Location is nice.Overall, not a great hotel to stay in... Unless you are Russian.

    Understaffed and not 5 star

    rating27 Oct 2025

We booked McArcinan because it’s listed as a 5-star all-inclusive with its own beach and water slides, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst all-inclusive experience I’ve had so far. The disappointment started right at the lobby with fake plastic plants and continued throughout my 5-day stay. The hotel was clearly understaffed. We kept seeing the same hardworking team in the restaurant, bar, and pool area every day. They looked exhausted but always had a smile, and honestly, the staff were the only good part of the stay. Entertainment was poorly organized and nothing like what was advertised. Some areas of the hotel had a strange, lingering smell. While the rooms were clean (which I appreciate), the utensils in the restaurant were often dirty, and the pool slides were rarely all open, which was really disappointing. Overall, it felt like a 3-star hotel with overworked staff doing their best under poor management.
