    The front desk door was locked when we got there at 12:30AM. The attendant, when he unlocked the door, was surly and spoke poor English. We had reserved a room with a king bed, and were given (and charged extra for) a room with 2 double beds.The first room we were given didn't have working heat, and no phone, so we couldn't call the front desk to comlain.We had to go around the outside of the building with our 2 dogs in 25° temperatures to get to the next room, and the heat barely worked. The second room had no phone, we had bugs, there were stains on one of the bedspreads, the TV remote wouldn't operate the TV in the room, there was a hole in the bathroom door that looked like someone punched it, something had been removed from the wall and not painted or had the holes repaired. Despite the horrible experience we had, the only concession we asked for at checkout was a refund on the pet fee as compensation for the horrible night we had, which they refused to do.     Soccer tournament in town was locked out of every other brand and chose this red roof in.The first room smelled was in total just repair and the TV didn’t work. There were also people living in the room, two doors down and looks like they’ve been there for weeks They moved me to another room, which didn’t smell, but was in total disrepair. At least the TV worked! Next-door there were three dogs barking all night and a toilet that ran every 90 seconds. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable, but it really felt rundown. Try to get a new room, but they told me they had no more even though there were dozens and dozens of rooms that were not being used. This organization looks like they’re running on a shoestring budget and only have about 30% of the hotel available to be rented due to a lack of funding to update their hotel.     Location- great, room could have been nice, cleanliness- terrible, staff - very nice, amenities- Wi-Fi did not work, tv was sketchy at best, no phone in room to call front desk.     Bugs, Cigarette Smell, Stained Sheets, Terrible Room

    I had low expectations going in, but good lord is this place a shitbox. Despite the 100% Smoke Free signs all over the property, my room smelled like cigarettes the instant I walked in, and people were actively smoking outside all night. I then turned on the light to see a stain + a dead bud laying on my bed, along with (at least) 4 other bugs flying around the room. See photos if you want to meet the whole gang, maybe you’ll be “lucky” enough to meet them next! Next time I’ll sleep at a rest stop and risk getting stabbed, this place is a smelly, bud-infested dump.
