    I see my original review has gone . I booked here and lies after lies after a very long journey . I let 2 hotel men take me 1km along the road. Apparently to a sister hotel to he woken up a few hours later to a young man thudding on my door very angry. (Apartel hotel) .I never had a clue but was verified I was brought here by the owner of the orient .this was the worst holiday I've ever been on. My original hotel the orient was bed and breakfast and apartment they took me to had no kettle and the gas hob connected to a dangerous gas bottle on the floor didn't work .loveholidays have looked into this and I cant get any compensation back .what a disgrace. PLEASE STAY AWAY .ps the orient staff picked me up from apartment they took me to for my transfer to the airport hone and I saw the chef prepping food with a cigarette hanging from his mouth .

    DO NOT COME HERE!!You might get a good deal with Loveholidays (or another tour operator, but this is a truly horrendous place!! I met with the rep the day after I arrived to express my concerns. His first lie was to tell me that Loveholidays would relocate me. This wasn't going to happen as I found out after 3 days and 43 emails that Loveholidays is NOT a member of ABTA and uses a third party!! 5 days and 54 emails later, I am still here!I've been repeatedly lied to, been given lots of factually incorrect information and many of my questions deliberately ignored, despite asking the same question in my next email. The room (407) is a family room with a dilapidated rusty fridge with broken shelves. It is not in the block with the bar / restaurant and poolTo get hot water for a shower, you need to let the water run for at least 5 minutes before it gets warm!Breakfast is very, very basic, but the bread is good. One of the hot dishes looks like cat sick and with no name on it, I have no idea what it is! The other hot dishes are boiled eggs, chips and green peppers.There is VERY limited sun around the pool area!! You will get the sun from about 11.00am but your sunbed will only half be in the sun!! The sun will disappear about 4.15pm in October, with the sun setting at 6.30pm.A truly horrendous time here, and please, please do not come here!!Loveholidays originally offered me £50 compensation, which was less than £5 a day!! Their final offer was £100 which I have reluctantly accepted but I am still in this dump!This hotel is cheap for a reason!You have been warned!

    This place was awful to stay meant to have 2 rooms got there no spare rooms so had to take a family room which wasn’t on said they would get it sorted never answered when asked, the room was roasting and had to ask for a fan there was little bugs on the bed had to ask the cleaner to spray the bottom of the bed the shower was freezing cold asked them to come and look at it just ignored the situation the place is very old fashioned could do with an upgrade the guy Adam at the bar was lovely the rest were rude the food was nice pub grub breakfast was shocking only thing I liked really was the bread so wasn’t any good. Overall this place isn’t worth the money it’s in a good area close to shops and other bars and good bus service to places

    Stayed in June 2025 and had a great time, However when we arrived this time for a 10 night stay, we were advised that the hotel had overbooked and instead of two standard rooms we had booked we were asked if we could take a family room on the 4th floor (no lift), for 4 - 5 days, ( the youngest of our party of 4 was 62 and the oldest 68), the only alternative we were told was a room at a sister hotel, however as we were promised that our original booking would be honoured after the fifth day we accepted this. This was not honoured and instead we were given another family room on the 1st floor. we advised that we would be happy to stay here for a compensation package, free meals and four free beer per night for the remainder of our stay. The Manager agreed to this, however after the 3rd night in this room he renaged on this deal and gave us 2 rooms on the first floor. These were not standard rooms and although nicely decorated there was no balcony. With only a few days left of our holiday and the prospect of moving again we accepted these rooms. Apart from this, everyone was very nice, including the manager, just a pity he wasn't good at keeping his word. All this was compounded by Sun Express leaving everyone on the aircraft's luggage in Edinburgh. Yes that's right everyones.

    Visited with me and my partner .my son decide he would like to come aswell. so due on arrival found out that my son didn’t have a room even though I booked this in June for him and they only had a family room for us and let me tell u wasn’t nice 1 bit freezing cold shower ,uncomfortable bed , no air con in room ,and I wasn’t the only person they done this with .i asked 3 times to look at shower but staff weren’t bothered . Hotel restaurant was lovely the staff was amazing would recommend them but not this hotel
