  My 2 weeks stay in this little budget hotel

  Rooms: - The rooms are cleaned very well and the cleaning ladies don't understand English very well but are very lovely and friendly. - In the one bedroom family rooms they only have a double and a single in there. In the two bedroom family rooms they have a double and single sofa bed in the living area and a double in the bedroom. - the balcony is nice and spacious and has a table and chairs out there. - the room card needs to be in the holder for the fridge and lights to work. The drinks or food in the fridge won't stay cold.Food- The breakfast wasn't great. hard boiled eggs, a bunch of cheese and meat slices.- The lunch and dinner were better and had more choice but was nearly the same every day. However, the food was nice.-the cakes in the afternoon were lovely! POOL-the pool was small but adequate for the number of people that was round it. the best time to be out in the pool is late morning until around 5.STAFF-As said before the cleaning ladies were lovely!....there were other women that worked at the bar and at dinner service and they always had a smile for you. -I was a bit of a night owl and often come down to have a smoke on the front. the night manager would often talk to me. he was very funny and was lovely talking to him.-the day manager (i think it was the owner's son) helped us to make our stay more enjoyable as when we had first come to stay we had been placed in a one bedroom family foom but he helped us and we moved to a different room. Pros:-fab location with many shops and restaurants close by, I would highly recommend the mitos restaurant and the pekcan restaurant (we tried two others and the food was awful!)- rooms were nice and clean-majority of the food was nice-the balcony was very spacious (helps with drying towels too)- beds were comfy-staff were nicecons:-food too repetitive-the shower was either too hot or too cold (happened in both rooms we stayed in)-limited drink choices on all inclusive-pay extra for sunbeds (we found some cheaper along the beach)-if in the 2 bedroom family room you only have air con in the living room.I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and need a holiday. I would stay there again as it was good for the price.we stayed on the street side, it was noisy of a night but gave some fab views. the noise stops at around 1 am however if you have the balcony shut you can't hear anything anyway.Just as a side note before booking I had seen a photo of the pekcan restaurant and assumed that it was part of the hotel....it is not.

  This place is dire wouldn't send an enemy there. Poor selection of food. Staff rude. No entertainment at all and just not acceptable at all and well breakfast is a joke cant even get a slice of toast the only positive was rooms are clean and tidy but avoid road side rooms as very noisy till after 3am 4 nights a week. The worst holiday i have ever experienced in my life

  The reason I titled this was that this hotel is not as bad as the reviews given1st of all the negativesHot Food is repative and not that excitingSun only comes round mid morning to poolNow the positivesSmall pool but was not crowdedAlcohol plenty off and if you can’t be bothered to go back to the bar due to only two drinks per person then best stay at homeRooms clean and spaciousUnsure where other reviewers got pictures from but definitely not our roomIf you want a cheap but average hotel then this is a good choice

  My two weeks at the Pekcan Hotel Alanya

  Just back from 2 weeks holiday at this hotel....it was exceptionally clean, well situated ..just a short walk from the beach, shops bars resturaunts etc.The staff were very helpful even if they didn't seem very happy it was the month of ramadan which could explain it.As a vegan I am always concerned when going AI but I needn't have been, there was ample choices, perhaps a bit more fruit could have been provided but with a local market nearby twice a week I bought all I wanted.Alanya is a beautiful part of turkey and attracts a diversity of holiday makers, I felt that this hotel catered well for all.Yes I would recommend this hotel.

  Terrible hotel

  Went here with my partner for 10 nights Alanya is a lovely part of the world but this hotel is unbelievably bad,the beer and spirits get 50% water added at least,the food is disgusting so we ended up spending all our money eating and drinking out.Most of the staff are rather rude(unless you are German). Look for somewhere else for your holiday and give this a wide berth
